265 cup 2's fitted up front. I have a feeling I need to up my front spacer size and give it a little more camber so it fits better.

I could also just wait until the tyre wears itself some clearance :D

    More.

Including the GT4 wing which is bolted down. The boot is dented to **** from the uprights but who cares. The whole car will be bent one day.

not sure if that's sarcasm or not. For me its going some. Not even covered 50 laps of the place yet. I think the car can achieve much better.

Far from sarcasm, the quickest I’ve done is 8.06 in my Megane and that wasn’t hanging about, I hear a lot of people saying they’ve gone under 8.00 but they’ve no idea how quick that actually is when you’re in the car, no videos do the Ring justice. So 7.4x is flying

The likes of Schirmer, Alex T, Jangobipbip are around the 7 minute dead mark.

I don't have the money to be going for those times but I recon if I get used to the track me in the car could achieve, i'd hope, a sub 7.3X. Maybe.

    Slight update.

Got some bits to fit. So fitted what I can. I've bought harder springs for the KW's but the rears are too short so those are going back and longer ones ordered.

Short shifter may or may not be fitted depending on time.

    Anyway so the list contained.

    Harder springs all round
    headlight refurb and de chrome
    GT4 front lip
    Sticker number plate
    front under tray
    front brake cooling kit
    wing
    short shifter solid mounted
    rear pads
    wheel studs
    fix power steering fluid leak

Got a few things to finish off and tidy and bar the shifter it will all be done.

I've also started making my own adjustable arms up. Waiting on bushes to test on the first pair then I'll get the others made.

    Anyway pics.

Looks great! Some nice improvements on the car should make for it a lot of fun on track. Out of interest, who have you been using locally for your fitting? I'm local to you and planning a similar build.

yours too man. i'll have to make the effort to talk to a few as I really don't know any regulars and want to. might be going this month 24th to practise in something else as its VLN layout.

The cage and rear subframe has been done by Paul Mumbray down in London as I was impatient and wanted it done then and there. Everything else has been done by me. I have a good mate who charges me £100 storage per month but I have access to his ramps and tools so I don't pay for work to be done on it. I'm a tech as my job and certainly some bits of these are very easy to work on. I'd hate to have to do anything in the engine bay though. If you need any help or anything or you fancy some drives when its done message me!
