I have found a e90 m3 that I really like but the spec is putting me off abit.

It's a manual lci with no edc and has a basic stereo with no front pdcs.

Do you think this will affect resale if I have to ever get rid of it?

Front PDC would make little difference to me, base audio could make a difference and lack of EDC the biggest issue
Overall would depend how good the car is as regards owners, mileage and condition to me

Fewer than 250 LCI saloons (assuming your E90 reference is specific) were sold in the UK. Most were DCT, so you have found a rare car. Buy on condition, history and provenance. Options are simply options, especially on a car that's likely to be around 10 years old.

So basically for re-sale, you'd need someone who is tone deaf, easily able to park, and has a padded a r s e , so doesn't mind there's no comfort damper option?
That's not a narrow market for the UK ;)

Seriously, I think the rarity of an E90 with a manual , particular LCI, if in good condition, good provenance , and low (reasonable) mileage will be an easy sale.

The fact you really like it should be reason to buy.

    All very valid points guys.

I didn't realise there was such a small amount of e90 m3 saloons in the UK?

I was thinking about going for kW v3s on what ever I get anyway.

Yup, I wasn’t bothered about EDC as i’ll be going coilovers.

    And audio is easily upgradable.

Manual, LCI E90 will be sought after in years to come regardless of spec

Agreed, and as you've said EDC is irrelevant of you go with coilovers.

I think backing up our comments, a random look on Autotrader finds this car which at the price shows
    (1) Premium over coupes , I've helped people by Comp Pack coupes, newer at this mileage fair 2-3k cheaper.
    (2) Appreciation, as it's £2k higher now, at 7k more miles than it was last August.

    I'd have it.
I prefer E90 styling over E92, particularly the LCI rear treatment.
It's on the best standard wheel option too...
If you're considering coilovers then it's a good starting point imo.
Good luck whichever choice you end-up making.

Manual E90 LCi is a rare beast indeed. I wanted one when I was buying originally but just couldn't find one.

If you decide to not buy it, do you mind posting the details as I know someone who desperately wants one!

It is but converting a pre LCI car to an LCI car isn't hard or that expensive. Basically, boot, lights, I drive and silver internal switches. That being said, not many manual pre LCI e90's either
P.S turner subframe mounts going on tomorrow!
EDIT only 2 E90 manuals on AT!

Hope you enjoy the solid subframe bushes! You'll probably need alignment doing but you probably know that already.
