    Hey guys,

I have a thread somewhere on this forum but cannot find it as not a frequent user.

I've had my E63 M6 from Apr 2016 and have gone through some mighty changes, including 5 sets of wheels (only to circle back to my original ones!!), ESS VT2 650 Supercharger kit, Stoptech BBK, full leather dash/door cards retrofit, CIC retrofit and pretty much everything refreshed/replaced in the engine, transmission and fuelling system.

I ditched my air suspension after 3 years and sold off the fancy 3 pc split wheels I had, in favour of some KW V3 coilovers and stock wheels 2 weeks back (perhaps temporary until I decide if I want some other lightweight wheels). I must say, the handling has transformed. Car feels bloody amazing on some proper suspension and I'm so glad I held out and got some KWs - my first set too! Waited some 2 months but well worth the hold and installed with a friend couple of weekends ago.

I also recently managed to find the rare CIC dash trim and the CIC armrest console so went ahead and retrofitted CIC + combox, so now the car really does feel updated both internally and externally. Short of half-cage and perhaps some Recaros, I'm pretty much done with the car.

    Full Mod list includes:

    - ESS VT2 650 BHP Supercharger
    - Stoptech 6pot / 4pot BBK
    - Primary De-cat
    - Eisenmann Race rear back box with Oval tips
    - LCI Contour/Competition Bonnet
    - 10 x new ESS injectors
    - ACS rear spoiler fitted
    - Professionally refurb interior leather
    - OEM optional Leather Centre Console CIC
    - OEM option full alcantara interior roof liner, ABC pillars and rear parcel shelf
    - OEM optional Leather Door Cards
    - OEM optional full Leather stitched dashboard (unmarked!)
    - New uprated oil cooler from Radtec UK
    - OEM LCI front indicators retrofitted
    - Uprated Water Pump
    - OEM Thermostat
    - OEM coil packs x 10
    - OEM Spark plugs
    - Centre Support bearing / Guibo / Transmission mounts, O-Rings, nuts and bolts
    - Fuel Pump
    - Fuel Filter
    - Fuel Vent Valves
    - Fuel Pump Module (EKP)
    - Fuel Tank
    - Carbon Charcoal Canister
    - Fuel Cap
    - Idle Actuator Hose
    - Crankshaft Sensor
    - Rod Bearings
    - HP VANOS line
    - Diff Oil
    - SMG Fluid
    - Throttle Actuators

    - LCI oil sump

    640hp on Surrey rolling road

    Future Mod List:
    - Meth injection

Enjoy the pics in no particular order!

As it stands however, car is on KW V3 and Stock wheels, having gone through various transformations

Threw on some brand new Michelin PS4s all round yesterday, waiting to get an alignment done this weekend. Cannot wait to start pushing it around soon.

Also looking into extra cooling, because who doesn't like cooler running cars! :D

Fast forward October, I've now installed the following bits in the past few months.

    - IPE Valvetronic exhaust
    - Devils Own meth injection
    - BMW Performance Seats - custom stitched in red stitching
    - BMW M4 GTS style Fire extinguisher bracket from PS Designs + Genuine BMW Fire extinguisher mounted under the passenger front seat
    - Rear lights lamin-x
    - New BBK on order
    - New wheels to follow next year in the form of 19" BBS RSII

I'm having 2nd thoughts on putting in a cage. I really enjoy the car as is with the rear seats despite it never getting used - just a nice to have feature!

Those seats look fantastic  I bet it sounds great too. As for the cage, I wouldn’t bother, it’s not as if you really need one.

    Cheers

Thanks. Yeah I'm chuffed with the seats. Tis true about the cage. I'm not chomping at the bits to get it so won't bother.

Still loving this. I'm hoping you do a manual conversion that would be wild

Yeah they were a pretty penny indeed but so worth it in my opinion.
Teheh as if this forum doesn't make it hard enough to upload pics, I'll be here a while trying to work out how to upload vids. Feel free to go on my IG account and have a listen to some of my videos @that.m6

I've toyed with the idea of either a manual or DCT conversion, but honestly speaking I love the SMG. It was made for the car plus thr manual is slower than an SMG. A friend of mine has just completed a manual conversion on his e60 m5 which ironically is now for sale as he wishes to embark on another mad project but I genuinely don't think I will want to change. The way SMG shifts is so raw and I love it.
Yeah it should sound like that from factory. Ofcourse I'm fully decatted too so even louder but with the valves closed it sounds stock with is perfect for longer cruises. With the valves open however its a different animal...

How much did the manual conversion cost your friend?
