Spent some time last year making things look better and the car drive better.

Fitted the aluminium pedals, I think it looks good against the aluminium cube trim.

And a shot of my car

Bought two sets of 18’s as I’ve never been a fan of 19’s, will make one good set out of the two sets.

I will get them set refurbished similar as they already are, the dark grey should look good against the Silverstone blue.

Also fitted the Silverstone plaque I had designed that RS2000 had made.

I haven't been on here in ages and thought I would reminisce about owning my old E46 M3 by looking through this forum section and was looking through this thread as a mate used to own an S54 when they were pretty new and I thought I recognised the number plate in the photo after over ten years and lo and behold it was my mates, he was the second owner. Been over ten years since I saw that car!!!! Got a few pics of it back in the day next to my first PY M3 and from a Ring trip back in August 2006.

It's down there at the moment, rear subframe, exhaust blowing at joint to the rear box, rear brake lines, rear shocks, couple of other bits. Eeek!

If its been repaired properly that price doesn't sound too bad at all.

I think it's the damage at the rear that would concern me more than the front, especially considering these cars don't need a crash to compromise the boot floor!

To be fair to the advteriser they do mention it was Cat N and that they have photos of the damage. I agree given the mileage and number of owners, and if the repair has been done properly (which is a big IF) it isn't a bad price.

Received an interesting PM tonight from the previous owner of the Pilot Car.

Sadly he doesn't know where it ended up and the Dealer he sold it to/through no longer exists.

If it hasn't been exported then its almost certainly been scrapped as it doesn't show up anywhere.

Depends on condition / spec bud.

People will always ask about the smg pumps and boot floors.

I’m sure it has all of the above in good order, so I’d be inclined to think around 14/14.5k

That’s what I payed for my yellow one recently in a similar fashion to the one you describe.

    All the best

Getting a rear blind isn’t the issue but the switch panel is, 18 months of searching and a switch panel turned up on eBay 15 mins from my house. Was £50 but just needed it.

Will get the blind fitted this summer now.

Still need to decide what’s the best colour to do the 18 inch wheels and, repair the airbag light and now a water leak.
