It's pretty bad. Rear diffuser doesn't look like a good fit, carbon fibre stuff isn't to my taste neither are the headlights.

For 20k aswell needs to be standard

What’s the mileage on this car for sale? Just curious as have been thinking about selling mine and would like an idea of what price to put on it. Cheers.

Dropped the car off this morning at PMW and there was another Silverstone M3 in their carpark, LY05LJF, belongs to Daniel1000 according to the owners list at the head of this thread. Hola!

Yes, I still own LY05 LJF. Neither Daniel nor Chris at PMW mentioned they looked after two Silverstone Editions!

The only time I saw another S.E. was on the motorway - I was travelling back from a holiday and I think it was returning from the BMW Car Club annual festival at Gaydon. However, I was in my daily driver at the time so missed the opportunity wave!

That could get messy after someone carries out a repair and flogs it to an unsuspecting who turns up here one day and sees his pride and joy in the thread header listed as salvage!

Just to let everyone know, I sold my car, #8.

100k miles, manual, non sunroof, 2 owner, BMW approved etc, full main dealer SH. Touch of rust starting on one arch but other than that it was immaculate.

Horrendous to sell, umpteen time wasters but eventually the weather improved and I got a really genuine buyer.

Sold for £13,250. That should give you chaps some real world facts to value your own cars.

    Many thanks.

Was there a stereotype of the typical time waster buyer so we know who to avoid ?

It all seems to come down to price with most people. They expect the best car with everything correct and then want to pay next to nothing for it.

Auto trader. Best way in my opinion. I've never sold a car from pistonheads or eBay. EBay especially is really hard work.

This forum.... gosh where do you start. I don't think this forum is the place to sell a car but I do think it's the place to buy one.

I would say a dealer will snap that up and add 2-4K on the top

    Seems pretty cheap.
