I’ve had mine for 5 years now and still enjoy it.
Had mine 16years.
Ive owned mine for 17.5 years... owned mine since it was 6 months old in 2002...
Since October 2007.
Only cars I have ever bought twice were a Honda CRX and an E46 M3.
Had my old one 2.5 years and this one for 5 months so far.
The longest by far that I have ever owned a car. The usual would be 2-3 years.
owned for less than two years but done over 20k miles in it. I'd be interested to know who's put the most miles on theirs too. Started out thinking I'd keep mileage low but that went out the window as too tempting to drive it everywhere!
Had mine 6.5 years and have done 90k miles in it
Had mine for 4 months.
9th year of ownership and covered over 65k miles. I drive it almost every day and still get a buzz doing so.
Not unknown for me to take the long way home from work or avoid motorways and drive the B roads instead.. just because!
I bought my 2004 slicktop in early September 2004. 65k miles at the moment.
6.5 years & approx 15k miles across two e46's.
I have had mine 4 years now and longest I have owned a car normally only keep things 4 - 5 months. I cannot see me changing it anytime soon.
I've owned mine since February 2013 - so ~ 7 years...came with 24K baby miles and has never let me down to date!
March 17, it's my daily with a few trackdays a year and have done about 20k so far, it's now on 120k. I bought it in march and 3 months later in June I put 4k on straight away in 18days driving to the ring, through Switzerland, down to Italy, all the way along the bottom of france and back up the west side.
In the nearly 2 years iv had it iv probably spent about 6k, on exhaust, coilovers, alloys, bearings, vanos, bushes, arms, track tyres and pads etc the list goes on... and now its slowly becoming more track car than daily lol just got myself a pair of fixed back buckets so it looks like harnesses full time now
Bought in November 2017 and have covered 22,000 miles since.
It’s my only car and is used to commute and get to and from appointments during the day.
My aim is to keep it as a usable, but more focused, daily driver.
To that end it’s now on KW ST XTA coilovers, has a purple tag rack and is about to have the brakes replaced with a full setup from a 2018 M4. I’ve also done HG, Vanos, big end bearings and refurbished and plated the boot floor, so not a cheap two years, but no regrets.
Unless my financial situation changed dramatically for the better, I can’t think of anythingI’d want to replace it with.
I'm in very much the same boat, there's not much that's considerably better this side of £25k really. So, brakes, suspension, remap incoming...
Three years for me plus twenty years on my 993. Looking to keep both long term and even-longer term.
I have thought of selling mine a few times tbh but when I take it out for a drive I've always changed my mind!
Consensus seems to be once you buy one you just don't want to get rid of it, certainly that's me anyways
