I have two warning lights what come on now and then. 1 is the ESP light and the warning light. I plugged a diagnostics machine and it says it's the ABS pressure sensor. I tried resetting the lights and giving the ABS unit a bang with the hammer but it still comes on. Does anyone have any info on what I would need to do. I have been told that I may have to send my unit off as the sensor is inside it. But I have also been told there's 2 sensors below the unit and that it's one of them. Help would be appreciated Thanks.

I had to change both sensors - think it was about £80 each

Some say you can just bleed the system to clear it, others reckon replacing both.

You will have to bleed the sdystem anyway if you replace the sensor.

I replaced only the faulty sensor.

There is another thread on here about somewhere.

Pain in the backside to change! I did it with out disconnecting the brake line but it was a real Ball ache with big hands.

    Banged it with a hammer!

Both sensors screw into the DSC unit, so just buy a new and bleed the brakes

diagnostic should tell you if its no 1 or no 2 pressure sensor.no 1 is nearest the front of the car.no need to bleed the brakes if your quick changing it.
