    However I don’t understand why one of the the previous owners decided to cover the entirety of the rear plinth in gloss black.

    Probably damaged it, went to dealer to get a new one and foundout every man and his dog had used his plate to get the vin number to order all there CSL bits from main dealers for the last 15 years and therefore BMW refused to sell him another as according to there system he's already bought 4000 rear diffusers, 3000 carbon roof's, 12000 boot lids and, 10,000 sets of wheels. :muttley:

    Look it up on GOV.UK MOT check/history. The reg corresponds to a grey 2004 M3 with 9.5k on it.
