Bit more done. Drivers side is done, got the rear wheels spaced out to fill the arch, now I can see how much bodywork needs cutting for clearance.

How big of a spacer in the rear in the end Mat? I need a 40mm in my to fill the rears and I'm already running 11" et8!

Really must pop by at some point - what part of the city are you in?

Yeah, you are more than welcome. I’m near the footie ground, Yarmouth road. What about you?

That's interesting, so my wheels are only poking out about 5-6mm more than yours without spacers, 50mm is going to be wide! DO you have any concerns running that size spacer on track and the stresses on everything? I guess time will tell!

I've just moved out to Stoke Holy Cross, so not far from you. When the missus gives me a pass one sat or sun I'm give you a holla and come nosey! :muttley:

I lived in Framingham earl most of my teenage life, still go back there now and then for mates and stuff. I went to the posh restaurant in Stoke not long ago, I remember when it was a pub, ace for underage drinking hehe.
I’m not to worried about a 50mm spacer, is it any worse than a -70 offset rim which I would need to run no spacer, I’m not sure there is a difference?
Ultimately I’m sure the bearings will suffer quicker but hey what ya gonna do? :roflmao:
Yup, come over whenever you like mate, I’d like to see your 46, is it done yet? Any pics of it?

I’ve started to gather some parts together to get some work done on the car for this years track fun, first up,

An adapter for the oil cooler lines. I’ve noticed that whilst the car has been parked up in the garage I’m getting a small oil leak, further inspection found some small patches on the oil cooler lines not at there best so ive decided to change the lines to AN-10 braided hose. I want to see if this adapter will fit the original oil cooler to so I can just change the lines. I’ll check this out as I start work.

    Next up,

As it says on the box these should help with getting the roll centre back to normal and help dial out some bump steer. I’m hoping this will help to improve some of the front end feeling and aid with some grip. The round parts go on the wishbone after the existing mount has been pressed out and the the rest bolts up to the upright and wishbone. Has the added advantage of increasing steering speed to if I need it. Illl set them to “race” to start with and see how they feel. Still waiting on some steering lock limiters from turner in the USA but front end is all ready to go, new springs for the coil overs and this lot to install, I’m going to move the arb droplinks from the coil overs back onto the wishbones as I’ve read some people say it also helps to improve feel, time will tell.
In other news, wide body is all fitted, just waiting on some time to get it to a mate to cut up the arches and weld it all back up.
Probably going to be placing an order with Geoff steel for their deeper front fiberglass bumper, fiberglass rear bumper and carbon rear diffuser in an attempt to lose a ton of weight of the front end and a tidy saving on the rear too.
Had yet another go at fitting the fiberglass doors, they are starting to fit much better so hopefully they will be on soon.
New race technology dash to fit and wire up, new polycarbonate windows to go in too. Getting there, just need the cold weather to go away so I can get on with it!!

New Geoff steel deeper front bumper with splitter/undertray arrived today. This will remove a ton of weight of the nose of the car.
    Looks awesome too............

Cheers bud. How are you doing?
Yeah, I’ll cut out the middle section and add some mesh, I might even cut a csl style hole in as an air feed.

    Yeah, so about that..................
It wouldn’t fit on my trailer so that was promptly sold on and I found another for sale. It was an ex rental from a trailer company, I phoned them up and specifically asked was it a 7ft wide bed. “Yes mate, bang on” was the answer. So trailer duly purchased, drove to Northampton, picked it up in the pi§§ing rain, got it home thought, that looks small, had a measure, it’s 6ft5”on the bed, bloody car fits on with mm’s To spare. All in I paid £800 for 2 Inches. Smart.

What hose have you got bud? Teflon or normal stuff? If it’s the normal stuff I’ll have it off you.

Ordered new mate. Geoff steel sells them on their site, £260 I think it was. Quality is great and it’s so so light.
