its been a long time guys happy crimbo but short update ive swapped the ls1 to an ls3 running 540 bhp and 524ft lb
ive only covered 600 miles since but feels epic

Ive had three E30 M3s, well one, one group A car and an Alpina B6s and the Aplina was a blast but the extra weight up front ruined it. There are better engine swaps than an LS. Americans and their old tech boat anchors!

mines been ported and mapped with afm delete and carbon inlet manifold. its a 2.3 195 engine and just about doing 260hp so quite lively for a little one . at the moment engine is out because of an oil leak between timing chain cover and front of block so its being totally rebuilt. should be back in a couple of weeks . some parts have been difficult to get but got it all now.

Having owned 23 E30 m3s this was the cheapest of the lot when I bought it at 2800 quid so it was a no brainer to cook the s14 which needed a rebuild anyway

This is an all alloy V8 producing 540 bhp and is not much heavier than an s14 mate and revs to 8200 so no anchor

funnily enough i just picked up a monaro with an ls1 and harrop supercharger, only42k on it,big aps,ls7 clutch fancy zorst etc,pullls pretty well,not as nice looking as an m3 e30 tho llf
