Hi all, wonder if you could help me. I've been robbed of my money for an E30 lsd from a guy who seems to have a bad reputation on the forums. Unfortunately I've paid for it and not got it, forcing me to try and find another for a good price.

If anyone can please help I'm looking for a medium 188 case diff with lsd and as close to 3.73 ratio as I can get.

Any help on this would be amazing guy's.

    Thanks Scott

Hi I have my original diff from my e30 M3 which has a ratio of 3.25 lsd as standard with 6 bolt pattern on driveshaft, not sure if that's any use to you.

Hi John, that might be perfect for what I need, what kind of condition is it in and what price would you be looking for?

I also have a 3,62 original E36 M3 188 LSD with 4 plates that I could be persuaded to part with.....

That's great, just let me know the ratios as I could probably use a shorter one

    Not sure E36 would fit

    It fits perfectly.

The e36 M3 LSD just has 14mm holes in the basket for the crown wheel and I am told the output flanges are a bit meatier but I have never compared.

E36 diff won't fit an E30 unless you swap out the internals into an E30 casing.

    Also, E36 M3s had a 3.15 or 3.25 ratio so yours isn't original if a 3.62 and should be a 3.64.

3.62 is a large case ratio.

Sorry to be pedantic but an E36 diff definitely doesn't bolt into an E30 anyway :)

Thanks for stating a whole load of the obvious buddy. Were you also going to tell me that the 4 plates weren't standard either? :roflmao::thumbsup:

    Now that you mention it....:D:D:D

It was just replying to you saying that it fits perfectly as the op was looking for a complete LSD and when you said it was an original diff when half of it has been changed or renewed.
Maybe you meant originally and took it up wrong lol

If he already has a medium case open diff and not upgrading from a small case, it would be an idea cwp and unit of course
