    Hello Everyone

so I need to get my diff rebuilt, and maybe upgraded :)

I have been looking on here to find a few reviews / options and can not find a conclusive answer on who to use! Some people say X company is great, others say they were terrible! Others say use this company, you ring them up and then they say they don't do M3 diffs and cant get the parts anymore!

so... to finally get some names :) Can people who have had their diff rebuilt and had good experience list the supplier below, and also if its bad!

    thanks!

The problem with the E46 M3 diff is that spares for the actual LSD unit itself don't appear to be available.

If your LSD is healthy however, the diff can be rebuilt by anyone competent that has the correct tools. I've just rebuilt one myself with a 3.91 ring and pinion set.

Darragh is The man, I will be doing a full video of what he does next month.
After years of people searching for a solution to the dreaded diff rebuild, we finally have a trust worthy vendor.

Yes he will be doing my own M3's diff.... as soon as Ralph finishes painting it!

I think overhauling the M3 diff is far over exaggerated. It's really not difficult.

When it comes to diff rebuilding and your using for example ramp style lsd with custom plates and machining the housing for custom lockup then yes, that's tricky.

But our diff is not customisable, the clutches are not replaceable.

With a bit of common sense and the correct tools ( not expensive) and the will to learn it's very doable.

    I made a DIY on m3forum!
