Yep wish it was a simple retro fit.

I use the concierge service all the time, especially when I can't be bothered to enter postcodes and just let them load the info to the nav :p

I don't understand it either. It's an ///M car - the focus should be on driving dynamics. Not adding extra weight with all the fluffy stuff.

I can only assume that these people who want a leather dashboard and surround view cameras must be from down south ;)

If you fancy a coupe, get yourself a Dakar Edition E92 mate. I know you’re not a fan of depreciation (me neither), and I can’t see you losing anything on one. F82 is all good if you don’t mind taking a £10k bath over the next 12-18 months.

Regarding that Dakar F82 at Maidenhead, it’s been on the display stand over the entire winter, and the brake discs are now heavily corroded. A bit of light rusting is fine on a car if it’s being used to wear it off, but I’m not sure these discs will come back now: they are now dark, dark brown after a couple months of being stationary in the rain. If anyone fancies it make sure they put new discs all round!

I must admit I’ve only done 700 miles but given the benefit of hindsight I wish I’d kept my e92

Is that just because of the depreciation?

What makes you regret the move then buddy? I have a clean e92 M3 with less than 30k miles on it but have been considering the move, but I would probably go M3 with the f8x.

Apart from the yellow paint it seems a fairly average M4. In itself that's no means a bad thing but if you're looking for something special I think it needs to have full leather, CCB's and the comp pack for the suspension revisions - I know the 666 wheels are love 'em or hate 'em so you could always swap to 437's if you're in the latter camp. There's plenty of individual paint cars on the AUC so it just needs some time checking the option list.

Thanks guys I have passed on this.

I am not interested in a new one, as my heart could not take the deppreciation.

I have learnt a lot about the options now, as I thought it was not to bad specced. I will only look at an M4 now if it has gold calipers for example.

Still love my V8, I seriously do, its just coming up a year and its warranty time. Tempus fugit !!
