Hello members and welcome to Prestige Car Care's first Group buy for Cutters members.

    The offer is as follows:

    The bundle deal

1 x Big Yellow drying towel
5 x Super plush dark blue polishing cloths
    5 x Premium Glass cloths
5 x Premium Mircrofiber cloths "the all rounder "

Group buy price is only £48.00 including recorded delivery which is at 20% off my normal RRP.

This pack contains everything you will need in a start up pack for day to day detailing. My philosophy with microfiber is simple, if you look after your microfiber it will look after you. Buying high quality microfiber is important, as with lesser quality microfiber it will perform ok for the very first part of it's life but shortly after it will start to break down, and so will it's performance.

I cannot stress enough that mircofiber is the backbone of your detailing arsenal and it's a must buy at the highest standard possible. I use microfiber at every single stage of a detail/correction whether it's for taking off a wax or polish or cleaning carpets, engine bays, wheel arches or leather, their uses are endless! The reason I say buy nothing but the best is simple: the better the quality, the longer the life span and the more you will get for your money, as opposed to buying cheap microfiber in bulk.

Here are all four items listed below, please have a good read. Any questions please post on the thread. I will run the GB for a good few weeks to give everybody a chance of getting involved. Add your name to the thread and I will Pm you payment details.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

    Big yellow drying towel

    Spec

    Size: 60x60 cm

Colour: Yellow

    Weight: 500gsm

Contains: 70% Polyester, 30% Polyamide, Ultra fine microfiber, 0.13 denier.

    Overview

The purpose of this towel is to absorb water and product fast, and to limit the amount of damage caused to paintwork via the spreading of dirt/grit particles which can be missed when washing. In the yachting industry in particular paintwork is badly damaged from the use of synthetic shammys or towels that don't allow the fabric to breathe. The result of this can cause the dirt/grit etc to be dragged and spread around by the towel, leaving swirl marks and damaging the paintwork.

    Description

For those members that were involved with the Group Buy for the smaller blue idry a few months ago big yellow needs no introduction, but for those members who have never heard about big yellow this is a 60cm x60cm 500gsm drying towel. Big yellow is made from 3 layers of high quality Microfiber. The first layer is a diamond weave, which allows water/dirt etc to pass into the middle of the towel where it meets the second layer of microfiber. This a very thin layer, which holds all the dirt/grit that passes through to it from the outer layer of diamond weave. The towel is then sandwiched together by a final layer of diamond weave. The results are a well rounded, diverse towel that glides and retains large amounts water. There is nothing like this on the market currently, and this will be your "go to" drying towel. If you look after it well it will last for years to come.

    Directions

For best results fold the towel into a square (like the photo above) and dry following the line of your car from top to bottom. Once one side of the towel is fully saturated repeat the folding process to a fresh side. When all sides of the towel are soaked you can wring it out like any other drying towel. This towel works especially well with product. I'm sure most of you guys use a detail spray or waterless wash after your wash down to neutralise the hard water, this is where the towel really comes into its own.

    Washing instructions

Wash at 30 degrees with detergent but no fabric conditioner and line or tumble dry on low. Never wash your plush towels and normal microfiber towels together, do separate washes to stop fibres contaminating your plush towels.

    Dark blue plush cloth

    Spec

    Size: 40x40 cm

    Colour: Dark blue

    Weight: 500gsm

    Overview

This super plush polishing cloth is 500gsm. These plush cloths are prefect for removing polish and wax residues. All our microfiber is safe for even the most delicate of finishes including paint, metal, aluminium, chrome, even old lacquer paints. This plush cloth is double sided. One side is a super plush pile and the second side is a shorter nap. Try both side when removing product to see which is better for the task in hand.

    Washing instructions

Wash at 30 degrees with detergent but no fabric conditioner and line or tumble dry on low. Wash your Plush cloths in a completely different wash to all your other microfiber to stop fibres contaminating.

    Premium Microfiber cloths
    "The all rounder "

    Spec

    Size: 40x40 cm

    Colour: Blue, Red

Weight: 300gsm
Contains: 70% Polyester, 30% Polyamide, Ultra fine microfiber, 0.13 denier.

    Overview

These particular microfiber cloths are not your generic cloths. Although they all look the same, the quality of these is second to none! They are a 300gsm premium cloth. Most microfiber cloths you will see on sale are 200gsm to 250gsm and they are classed as a premium cloth, so as you can see this is next level. This cloth is the perfect all rounder, it's super soft and durable, perfect for use around the whole car. I have two colours available, each pack will be mixed so you can assign different coloured cloths for different jobs. I use over 20-30 of these on a daily basis, they really are fantastic!

    Washing instructions

Wash at 30 degrees with detergent but no fabric conditioner and line or tumble dry on low. Wash your microfiber cloths in a completely different wash to all your other microfiber to stop fibres contaminating your plush towels and other microfiber products.

    Premium glass cloth

    Spec

    colour- Green
    Size: 40x40

Weight: 300gsm

Contains: 70% Polyester, 30% Polyamide, Ultra fine microfiber, 0.13 denier.

This microfiber cloth is specifically designed to use on glass. Glass can be a difficult surface to clean and dry without leaving streak/water marks, with this glass cloth it's a breeze. The premium glass cloth is a double sided cloth, the first side is to be used with products to clean and remove any dirt and grime. The second side is to buff and dry the glass. I suggest having 2-4 glass cloths on the go at any one time. Two cloths folded for adding product and two ready to dry and buff. I also advise to spray your glass cleaning product onto the cloth as opposed to spray straight onto the glass. This means if you're a bad aim (like me) you will not create overspray on your paint or other glass areas that you have already cleaned and buffed.

    Directions

For best results fold the towel into a square. Select the correct side for adding product and clean. Repeat until dirt is removed, then buff with an alternate cloth.

    Washing instructions

Wash at 30 degrees with detergent but no fabric conditioner and line or tumble dry on low. Wash your glass cloths in a completely different wash to all your other microfiber to stop fibres contaminating your plush towels and other microfiber products.

    looking after your microfiber

Hello guy just quick post for you with a few tips on caring for your microfiber.
The first few tips I can pass on is to keep your Microfiber grouped into different cloths for different areas.
    1. Dirty jobs i.e engine bays
    2. Leather cleaning
    3. Interoir cleaning
    4. Glass cleaing
    5. Polishing
    6. Drying

    etc, you get the idea!

It's also very important to wash your microfiber in the correct manner. Never use fabric softener/conditoner when washing or drying your towels. There will be washing instructions on all of my products, however I fully recommend to cut off all labels from any cloth/towel you use on your car. With regards to drying I suggest drip drying if you can, otherwise a very very low heat. Never dry or wash your plush polishing clothes with any other types of microfiber. Wash each set of cloths in groups to stop damaging the mechanics of the fibres

Got ya, thought they might be automatic cloths that did the cleaning by themselves and hopped into the washing machine afterwards for £240 lol

Seems like you missed one F
