    RE: BO55AKG black M3

data check I used brings up 3 previous keepers for this car.

Current keeper is since 27 March last year.

There's a prior keeper listed from June 2016- January 2017

Has passed every MOT to date though.

This.. Never makes sense to me.. Although I wouldn't spend >£25k on one either.

Buy an AUC car, run it with warranty for a year then sell up..

I reckon you will lose more at resale with a bottom of the barrel car than a midrange one.

Who wants that much money tied up in a car? I don't, hence why I won't be paying that much for one. If I was, I'd get an F10 M5.

I bought a e92 m3 2008 6spd manual bit over year ago with 86k bmwfsh it’s now on 93k when I had a look at the car it seem to tick all boxes no dings scratches all alloys was in good condition same tyres all round the paint was very good for its age alpine white lll I had a look of inside of car as well no rips in leather or saggy drivers bolster all leather looked interior was good.so I took it for a full test drive I couldn’t believe how good this chassis was once I took it out as sales guy took me to some fast twisty roads the car pointed and went that way no matter what I gave it full beans at a big straight and that noise is something else so my mind was already made up buying the m3. To this day I use it for work daily I’ve now got full stage2 map custom Exaust system carbon intake system rod bearings arp bolts throttle actuators done at rebuild.org Jason front lambda sensors changed before map spark plugs as well and coilpacks new clutch smf picks up revs a lot quicker now yellow speed 8 pots hopefully 4 pots at back soon carbon prop shaft maybe some shcrick cams and call it a day most of things are done for peace of mind rod bearings lambdas coilpacks throttle actuators as they wear so I decided to change them regardless of there condition so I think I got the car I wanted even though it’s 86k

Thought I'd bring this thread to a close. Thanks to everyone who posted, even those who were less than constructive. I didn't get an M3 in the end, decided to go down the E60 M5 route. Picked one up on Saturday and couldn't be happier.

One of those 3 makes a 16K car but not all of em.

Mine at 94K was (before I stacked it) worth about 16K. Had rod bearings done, massive spec, full BMW and specialist services and at the time HPI clear.

16K will get you a good one. You'll have to look or a while but they will come up. Sadly though your looking at manual only.
