Hi Bri, I did not think you could top the 18's, and did think the new rims would look wrong in comparison, but the Cromags look lovely.

A wicked little car you have and you have made it into something quite special.

    Cheers Lee

It's not a case of disliking the 18's,

I think the Cromas suit the car better.

That car looks awesome, love a bit of individualism in a car.

Went to a car meet at Donington Park yesterday, turn out and weather was excellent.

A couple of pics that have appeared on FB. Still amazes me how much attention these cars get.

Had a mad idea a bit earlier.....yup, another one :D

Never been 100% happy with the crappy looking, light grey oem engine covers. Had previously thought about flocking them but wasn't too sure on that idea.

It currently has a clear polycarbonate cover replacing the oem cover that's an inspection cover for want of a better description....mad idea time! Why not replace the complete lot of the oem covers altogether.

Bit of digging here and there and next week I'll have full size clear cover on loan to try out. If I like then I can use it as a template to cut a new one out.

Pic shows the current small clear cover, the idea is to replace all the grey plastic around it so the whole rear is on view. The way the car looks and sits now I think it's capable of carrying the look off, they're maybe one or two not so attractive bits on show so I think that if it was done to an oem car it might not look quite right.

There used to be a polycarbonate bulkhead available so you could run no covers and yet not go deaf. Again this would be 10-12 years ago so wouldn’t know where to look now.

Not sure how full clear covers would look?!

    Thanks mate.

It's one of the original V6 forum members who's loaning me his (Brett) so will ask him re bulkheads.

If no joy there I'll ask Scott about maybe knocking one up.

I think the madness of the car might suit either no or a clear engine cover.

Got an interesting invitation the other day...

A tour of the Renault F1 set up in Oxfordshire.

They'll hopefully be around 20-25 Clio V6 cars going which will be a good number to have in one place....I believe it's been set up by Renault PR Dept so they might push the boat out a bit on this.

April 4th....should be a good day
