that is one epic weapon.
So so cool!
Only a few small detail changes
Looks far more aggressive with the livery details on - not that it was tame to start with, of course. Love it.
Ph2 wheels, KWs and front splitter also help
Crying out for a personalised plate, no?
Not really my thing mate, looked but decided nope.
Special car made even better.
Top work Sir.
Bold design, executed to perfection.
Have a mate who owns a car detailing supplies company and he asked if he could have the car on his stand at the Waxstock event last weekend.
He also wants it this coming weekend at the Fitted show in Manchester.
Anyone off here who's going, pop by and say hello
Not updated for a while....
Felt the car was missing the V6 Trophy spoiler but didn't fancy another as the fixing points were pretty dire to put it mildly. Managed to get hold of a mounting base / plate, bit of a faff to get it all to fit together but now sorted and it's rock solid now.
When Renault built the V6 Trophy cars they ordered the wheels from Cromodora. They had 5 sets made for each car so there aren't going to be too many left knocking about. Race teams aren't likely to be as keen as us car freaks to look after wheels plus, with them being lightweight magnesium wheels, the attrition rate would likely to have been quite high.
On that basis, you can imagine my surprise when these dropped into my lap
These are only going to be Summer wheels as road salt would completely wreck them rapidly.
Unicorn crap is likely to more readily available
Car now has an ITG canister air filter so is prone to do a bit of snorting. Spring time it'll be having a pair of branched manifolds with a pair of Sport Cats replacing the current 4 cats the oem car was fitted with.
What a awesome motor. Absolutely love it. What does it go like?
What a stunning car. Love it. Well done Brian.
I’m not sure I can wait until summer to see it riding on those wheels. Any chance of some pics sooner?
Love the decals/wrap looks the part!
Compared to some previous cars, it's safe to say it's slow
Having said that it can get a bit of a move on when needed. Had it now since July last year and, keeping in mind their reputation for trying to kill you, have spent time gaining confidence in the fact that if you drive it like a nugget it will kill you.
If you keep in mind the fact that all the weight is just behind your head and you corner with that thought, it's brilliant.....in the dry. When it's damp, don't forget it's damp
Suspension is now KW V3 set to firm and they transformed the handling.
As soon as the wheels are with me, the tyres will go on and the tyre decals will be done. They'll then go onto the car for a trial fit and pics.
The wheels are a different width and offset to either the Ph1 or Ph2 wheels so just awaiting a call as to recommended tyre sizes and any spacer needs.
Fronts are 8" wide and the rears are 9" wide and are 18" diameter.
Then they'll come off again until Spring so, watch this space
