Just more degenerates using an excuse to cause trouble
Fighting the good fight............meh!
Right up to the point they realise they can't charge their phones without a carbon footprint.
We are in fact destroying thth planet and it won't be long before the momentum of accumulated damage is un-reversible, these are facts and no one gives a flying £uck, but burn down an old church and enough money to rebuild it 3 times over is raised in 36 hours. The world is blind to it's future, so let them make a point, at least they are trying. I wonder who has their priorities in order.
Personally I don't really care about a church.
I'm not sure that angering the very people you want the support of is going about it the right way.
I have to agree with the church comments what a fucking waste of money rebuilding that.sick of hearing about it.
As long as they stick to disrupting the big cities who cares, certainly not affecting those of us lucky enough to be enjoying our petroleum on all those great roads out in the country
Hope they all cycled there,
their actions are of course hypocritical as they cause all sorts of congestion increasing the pollution output in London for the days they have done this. We pay a congestion charge, spend £1000's putting ulez compliant vehicles on the road with money we don't have and these fookers just make it worse, khan can legislate against anything with a registration plate. Boils my blood
the more they protest the more i want a big fat V8
Yep got three of those already!
Bunch of unemployed wasters that don't wash, the majority of them, get them Lifted and jailed.
This country needs to get a grip, best part is the majority that are being interviewed are foreign.
And they smell bad, so bad you can smell them aways down the road.
The hypocrisy in your post is laughable, you want to save our planet but I assume you’re not driving an electric car. And you couldn’t give a **** about what our ancestors built hundreds of years ago, would you also not give a **** if Big Ben, stonehenge, the houses of parliament, St. Paul’s, were destroyed?
Actually I wouldn't give it a second thought if any building was raised to the ground, i have a keen interest in architecture, art, engineering, everything really, but I'm not sentimental. I'm not an eco warrior either but i simply state the writing is on the wall. Personally I don't see the hypocrisy, I'm not telling you all to change your lifestyle from the drivers seat of a V8. I accept my lifestyle contributes to the situation. It does concern me what is coming. Put it this way, apparently we are maybe a decade from the tipping point and people are ignoring it, if they announced that a meteor was going to hit the planet in 10 years and £uck us all. Would you wake up every morning for the next 10years and think the restoration of the Houses of Parliament is a good thing for future generations. I've read all the comments above , frankly it makes for uncomfortable reading. Short sighted and naive at best.
But like me and the protestors you have a right to your views and i respect that.
When will folk realise this will make no difference whatsoever,a tiny little itsy bitsy island like us could go totally ozone friendly and have pet dolphins and all drive hydrogen cars, actually lets walk everywhere and just eat leafs.
HELLO!!!CHINA and all the other countrys that dont give a cockwotsit!
Jesus we cant even sort Brexit and they think we can save the planet.
Jake and Elwood in their old police car would get them shifted
Your right Steve, when goverments stop thinking about keeping themselves in office and multinational companies stop thinking about the next financial quarter and start thinking about the next quarter of a century nothing will improve,
If I was an eco warrior I wouldn't have an electric car, their carbon footprint is worse than a normal car.
Good point - great movie scene. That made me smile to think about it
There are protests and there are faux protests. This lot seem to be the latter. I mean, glueing yourself to something then putting little warning notices up so your hands don't get hurt, whilst having an ickle bottle of acetone to melt the glue, really?!! The comments made by goods drivers pointing out that sitting in static or stop/start traffic only made pollution worse in the city was bang on. Not sure the precious little darlings had thought of that.
i'd love to have taken a big GMC sierra there, sat in the traffic and rolled coal - right next to the protestors
