Just got these 6 X 1litre cans for £54.42 via carparts4less. All date stamped 10.9.21. Worked out cheaper buying individuals.

Works out a little cheaper than buying an equivalent 4 litre from Halfords which is £42.49. Cheers for that, its not often the 1 litre bottles work out cheaper!

Yeah strange it works out cheaper with the 1 litres. I've still got two cans with 2 litres in them from previous changes but don't like to use opened ones that have been sitting for next change so atleast this way there is less waste because I find my s54 never needs a top up.

Are you serious, say you have 2x4L, do an oil change, you have ~2L left and then next oil change you don't use the 2L you have leftover?

The leftover oil will be fine for next time, wish I was your neighbour, I'd have them off you and put it in mine

They are dated 2017 so that influenced me and apparently once opened the oxidisation can affect blah blah blah. Hate waste but weighing up these factors I'd rather be confident in fresh stuff.
