Thanks for the compliment! it didn't look like this of course when West Yorkshire Police were running around with it 2003-2006!

Had a recent full respray and full/in depth mechanical overhaul/power upgrades and now it's little bits left mechanically then some more modifications and some nice wheel sets I can rotate depending on the look I want :)

It's a fantastic daily for me, does all I need it to. Will get something 'fast' again in due course!

    Cheers, Dennis!

sounds like you’ve looked after it!! A car doesn’t have to be fast to be rewarding to drive. And you’ve got the look of spot on mate

I agree, it's a combination of power, driveability, power/torque delivery, handling & refinement that goes to evaluating a car and how it 'feels' to you.

No, these are genuine Hartge Classic's. I've had many sets of these and other Hartge 1 piece wheels and my current tally stands at 7 sets of Hartge wheels. Selling a few to get/rebuild other wheels some of which I already have!

I'm going to sully this thread after @ExCop530dT's beautiful touring with my in-your-face, shite-to-drive, boorish Audi...

Gave a it wash yesterday and had to buff out a scratch that some scrote left for me in the Asda carpark last week. Was steaming drunk last night and just realised that I've ordered a new, slightly less agrressive front splitter!

LOL! It's not. I actually love it. Its my favourite car to-date and I can hoon about in all weathers. I'm just heading off the abuse it usually gets on a BMW site from the RWD purists and the Audi haters. :muttley:

If I were after a track-weapon and was a half-decent driver that can heel-toe and all that stuff it probably wouldn't be the car for me, but as an average, non-track driver who likes to hurl about like a maniac as safely as possible, its perfect for me.

First proper drive after finishing the underside restoration a few weeks ago

My wife thinks I'm crazy that I take pics every time I park the car and if I like how it looks, the phone comes out :D
