Ooh well done that man, of all the cars for sale that was tempting me the most, effectively a new car that’s been well looked after by an enthusiast. Enjoy!

Well done, you bought a fab car at a great price!

For the record, I'm a highly responsible 48 year old pillar of the community who also specializes in buying expensive performance cars and selling soon after at massive losses!

    Enjoy :p

    EDIT:

Oh and just to say the wiring was left in place for a RoadHawk DC-2 dashcam if you want to slot one in, pretty sure they use a specific power lead but of course you could cut in for alternative manufacturers.

    Thanks again.
Also with weird timing Chris Harris tweeted just the other day that he was thinking about M3 CSs with carbon brakes - so I took that to be a sign!

I noticed it doesn't have Cup 2s, is that fairly normal?

Thanks! But not much lurking in 7 years really, just a very brief affair with an E92 M3 back then.

    Hope this one lasts longer..

Although all the press stuff hyped the Cup2s I believe most came on MPSS, they work better in the UK climate. By all accounts Cup2s are a danger unless on hot dry tarmac!

Was an accounting decision... £787 a month for it parked in the garage wasn’t too bright, so opted to update the missus’ bus to the X5 and I’ll buy another toy later on. I work from home so no real panic for a second car.

I absolutely love my cups, used them all year round although more of a weekend toy. So a lot of gingerly driving in the winter. They are phenominal in the dry and warm days. Only downside is the rears are almost shot after just 6k :(

Sure did! I presume we just print out that form and hand it in on the day? You didn’t have to email anything back?

Last time I was at Silverstone I stayed at the Golf Club, decent rates and good parking, right next to the circuit.

Huh, did not even know about that!

I have always stayed at Fawsley Hall, nice if you are taking your partner, although the Premier Inn about 3 miles away is also ok.

Aye three things need to take:

    (i) your driving licence
(ii) driving licence printout from the Govt link they attached (shows any points)
(iii) the completed BMW indemnity form

The big question is, do they do scrutineer one's helmet or undercarriage? :D
