    I used Autobahn Halesowen to do my Rod bearings. £850 - 7 hours labour, OEM shells, bolts, sump gasket, oil filter & Castrol oil.

    That's a decent price most places are 1500 mark

    It was done as preventative maintenance but glad I did considering the state of my shells. These are my factory recalled shells on 100k miles.

    Got them done by deutschteck Milton Keynes my old ones were decent no wear marks on them.

    That seems cheap! Was that all parts supplied and fitted? I'm in stoke on trent so might be worth a visit as im looking to get mine done

    Yes they supplied everything except for engine mounts which I provided.

    Price has gone up most likely as have their other services. I paid them £1250 for an Inspection 2 recently which was actually ridiculous thinking back on it considering the likes of Redish and ETA charge just over half that... Their inspection failed to pick up on issues I was already aware of (obvious issues).

    I wont get into too much detail but I can no longer recommend them after messing me around and my close friends who I recommended to use the garage in the first place. A few cutters have also had a bad experience with them.

    The only BMW specialist I can now recommend from experience within the Midlands area is BM Euroservice in Wolverhampton. For rod bearing Deutsch Tech Milton Keynes :peace:
