    Hi All,

Is anyone with BMW in terms of their insurance provider? Would you recommend BMW for insurance?

    I am.

    Yes they are very good.

They dont charge cancellation fees either.

In the event of unfortunate they use genuine parts etc.

    They were sensible price.

    No good for:

    Pay monthly: Charge interest

    Thanks bud. Helpful!

I'm not aware of any insurance company NOT charging interest for pay monthly.

I think Aviva don’t charge I can’t remember. Sure there is one.

Thank you. I will give them a shout.

AvivaPlus is where they don't charge monthly interest, but their quote is coming to £264.17 a month for me, on basic (3PFT), in comparison my current quote is £175 for fully comp. Fully Comp on Aviva works out to be £3645 a year whereas with my current insurer and BMW it's around £2000 when paying monthly or £1700 paying in one go. I have 6 points and 2 claims (one fault and one 50/50).

So Aviva is out of the question.

Went through your quote system. Didn't get anything back, although on my last car, you (not personally, but your company) quoted me almost double what Sky Insurance quoted me for the exact same cover.

Give them a call anyway mate.

Last year Flux were shocking for me (quoted almost 3x what I paid elsewhere).

This year they were £10 more than my revised renewal price (although the xs is a fair bit more with flux's quote).

God knows how they get their quotes. £3000+ they quoted me on an annual term with no NCD protected!

    Daylight robbery mate.

    Adrian Flux definitely are!

When the likes of Flux or Sky are quoting ridiculous prices that are three times the price of comparison sites then they have no business even being mentioned promoted or even allowed to advertise on here.

I used Pace Ward this year and service was really good. Last year I paid £1100 for my first year on my 2018 M3 and, when I asked for renewal price, the company I used were really slow. Went to Pace Ward and got a price of £800ish so was happy with that given area I live in. Then I got a renewal through for my existing insurance for £2500. Needless to say I went with Pace Ward.

    Hi.
Unfortunately we aren't able to be competitive on every quotation I'm afraid. I wish we could be as it would certainly make my job easier!

Insurance should be regulated properly. It isn’t.

I totally agree. Wife renewed with flux in June I think it was. She changed car so phoned to get a price to change. After a long time on hold was told 2500 was the best price. She would get 200quid back on the m3 policy.
Got cover for 1200 at somewhere else so phoned flux to cancel to then be told oh we can do the new car for 1500?? Seems strange to drop a grand overnight?? Anyhow went to cancel and yes there is 200 quid back but there's a cancellation fee (fair enough) oh and another cancellation fee as it was the first time we'd been insured with flux. So a cancellation fee on top of another cancellation fee.!!!

If I did this to my customers I wouldn't have any work. Insurance is a licence to print money.

A friend with an F80 had to install a tracker as part of his renewal. Not an issue but BMW were significantly cheaper than other companies even with a tracker fitted!

Not sure who they are underwritten by though.
