On the face of it these seem like super, super bargains right now, stock they where £58K, had one a few years back, but cannot believe they are changing hands as low as 11k for a well optioned low miles car...

It is a hell of a lot of car for the money, and will humble an E46 M3 Whilst being super slick and well equipped, is there anything better for the money..??

Not sure as never driven one but if I was looking I would put a couple more £k in for an M6. More expensive to run and not really apples with apples but the 3L diesel doesn’t interest me at all

Its not a couple more £k though is it?
    The F12/F13 M6 is still £30k+

The 6 series are a lot of car for the money at the moment except the M6 which is holding its current price.

I would get one for the runaround duties so I don't want the costs, frailty and that shocking gearbox of the M6. I really like the look, they have dated well and I think the wheels are really nice, with a Pan roof and all the toys they are a bargain and mapped they come out at about 370bhp and 530lb and 40 mpg.

Not so long ago you slated the looks of the 6/M6 lol.

But agree, a lot of car for the money.

Sorry. I thought boba was talking about the E63. You can pick up a reasonable M6 for £15k. The F12 on the other hand is beautiful and I can see myself looking at one in the future

I agree, I think the colour makes a massive difference as well, still dont like the front with its sad looking headlights, but Its surprising what a splitter does to these.

Mate had a 630i, great cruiser.

    They're a bit wobbly though aren't they ?

Wouldn't do much humbling on anything other than a straight road surely ?

Off to see one today - there a big old barge, and they are no track weapon thats for sure, but for the daily duties, it might be worth a shout.

I agree, I only have positives about the e63.
Don’t buy the diesel, very boring drive but they are very well specced normally.

I chose the 650. The V8 is glorious in the chassis and it makes a brilliant GT car.

I understand the V8 petrol appeal, but for me and its purpose, the mapped 370 bhp, high torque, low tax and mpg is far more appealing, appear to hold there money better and are the newer car.

Yes I did, it was rude not to, it just seemed to good to be true last owner 8 years, he bought the Demo car from BMW just down the road from me, full BMW main dealer service history at the same place thereafter and on extended BMW warranty, every option but HUD, drives like new and has been loved.... shame its black but does look good in black !!

Bit of an impulse buy as I did not think I would be coming home with it, but its a lovely car...

Fair enough, for your planned use maybe the diesel is the correct choice.

Lovely looking car, looks very similar to my 650. Only thing I despise on these are the horrendous arch gaps!

    Enjoy Boba

Me to, could have a party in there, have been in a lowered one, and the ride just does not suit this car, so you have to put up with it I suppose. Spacers may help a little !!

    Looks good Lee.

I loved my M6, 5 years of ownership and next to no issue, regardless of what the internet warriors say on the reliability. So well built and comfortable. I would loved to have kept it, but couldn't justify it.

They have defo got better looking with age.
