For all you owners in the South, I just had my rod bearings and an interim service done on my E93 M3 by Barry and Ross at BM Performance. I can highly recommend them, they both have a wealth of experience having worked at various BMW dealerships, the last one being Munich Legends. Some of you will already know Barry as a collector of E30’s, so he’s also an enthusiast of the marque.

I have no connection to the business but have always taken my BM’s to Barry as someone I trusted to do a first rate job and not to rip me off, rare nowadays when it comes to BMW’s.

Anyway, their number is 01293 773774

I would echo mr Blu's comments...
Also had my rod bearing replaced on my E92 M3 for peace of mind along with suspension upgrades.
They did a fantastic job, price was good, they were very knowlegable, efficient and a pleasure to deal with as they guys genuinely have a passion BMWs.
My M3 will be back with them soon for all fluids and sparks to be done along with any future works as a result.
    Highly recommended!

BMR helped me out at the last minute for a rear wheel bearing issue before a trackday. Amazingly helpful and turned it round super quick, going back in a couple of weeks for a service and a few other bits

    Morning

Just wanted to add my thoughts on BMR. I have used numerous Indy garages to take my M3 in for work were potentially required.

I came across BMR on a feedback link a while back. I thought I would go down and see the premises after making a call and speaking to Barry on a potential problem I have on the driveline issue.

I have to say Barry was superb! and his colleague Ross!

I had a metallic click/tap sound like two metal poles tapping each other when driving forward or back at a low speed 5-10 mph.

Barry did a diagnostic and pin pointed the problem straight away. I had to change the Cv joint....as the prop shaft had to come off we decided to change the Guibo and center bearing to get everything done in isolation.

The workmanship was impeccable. It's very hard to find a great Indy..I will be staying with BMR.

I will be taking my car there for future work. So far so good!

Barry/Ross hope the new premises opened Well.

I’ve been keeping an eye on BMR for a while, might give them a go when I need the rod bearings done then.
