AWD deals are not close to this - might get a stock RWD but demand is outstripping supply

Whats the best deal anyone has seen on an AWD, not through Park Lane?

Also has Park Lane actually said what deals they are doing on the AWD?

Unless they managed to get one through Park Lane no one is getting 16% off an X-Drive.

Do you qualify for the forces discount ?

If not then i suggest starting to become a member of the IAM as that looks the easiest way to gain access .

BMW are not going to offer you the same discount without qualifying i would imagine

I have enquired about a RWD and AWD with Park Lane.

I may be eligible through my sister. Need to wait and see. I expect figures from them today.

    Base M3 is £1k down £799 p/m I think.

They're also doing £23k off an M5 which is also tempting. Think it's £2k down £999 p/m figure on their website.

I don’t , but that’s not the point for me. I purchased my current M3 6 months old for £45k. List was £73k. No way I would buy new without significant discount…. If they are offering 17% off that is what you lose min the day you drive it off. I may have to concede that I need to wait but that’s no issue. At some point I will get the G80 for a price that makes sense to me.

The one thing I have learned is not to buy a new M with your heart only…

As you say waiting game for the price cuts , with the microchip global shortage i imagine the wait could be a little longer so you can enjoy your F80 in the meantime !

Most likely the case - I was out in my car today and to be honest it’s not such a step down and depreciation proof at moment…. Been offered £40k now by a bmw dealer via wizzle - prices still going up. 67 plate comp with 22k miles ….

    Found this on another forum

Sales breakdown by market and model by BMW.. not sure how many BMW intend to produce a year but if anybody knows figures from F80 model we could probably get an idea of what the demand vs supply will be like

    Here's some data on the F80 M3:

So 34677 cars over the course of the M3 production run which was 2014–2018 (inclusive), so 5 years... that averages to around 7000 cars per year.

If we use these figures as basis for the G80 then with the above projected sales split, that would be 1000 cars a year (14% of 7000) for the UK, of which around 600 AWD and 400 RWD...

Be patient and wait for the decent discounts - soon enough the LCI will land for G80 inc. the special models (CS, Evo, etc.).

so went to see my usual dealer today who pretty much matched the NHS discount so just shows the dealers that are saying it can’t be done just don’t want to.
I’m now stuck between what final order to put in.
