my car has an old style iPod connection in the armrest, does this mean if I trace it back I’m likely to have an aux in in the back of my nav unit?

    It’s an 02

Can you send me a photo of the iPod connection. Being an 02, you wouldn’t have the aux connection behind the screen.
If you press mode and AUX comes up on screen, then it has been fitted from the Bm54 in the rear.

It’s just an old 30 pin apple connector under the armrest and the cable goes down in to the centre console, there is no aux option when I press mode but I thought maybe it wouldn’t work without a device connected.
How much would a reconditioned unit with Bluetooth cost?

Yes, the screen is just a dummy monitor, like on a pc. Everything is in the boot. The Bm54 is the brains to all the sound, radio etc. It’s located under your navigation unit in the boot.

You have an option to buy a ready made unit, send your unit in for upgrade, or pop down and I can do the upgrades whilst you wait. Takes about an hour or so.

How much would it be for an upgrade?
I’d like Bluetooth for music and calls definitely, maybe digital radio receiver as well if that’s possible

Being 02 plate, you would have an old Bm54, which means it will need a firmware upgrade. This is £40 or free with the stage 2 amp upgrade, which is £149.99.
The Bluetooth music streaming is £60. Hands free is a different story. I’m currently doing a retrofit modification on the Bm54 units, which will have a lead for original oem Bluetooth ulf units.
I’m still pricing this option up and stockings the bits and bobs that I will need.

Postage is included. I have the cabling for the Bluetooth ulf in stock, just not the microphones. Trying to find an alternative.
