£47k is cheapest V10 manual in the country though - does look well lived in though, I have to agree...

I don’t think they are R8 buckets, that might explain the colour difference, I’m assuming the original seats were cream. Still looks ok though, I’m sure the door cards could be recoloured.

They’re Audi bucket seats available on various models at the time I think including the r8

I am sure you can haggle that price. I have been watching the manual V10 market for a while and these cars aint selling... some have been on for months. One dealer dropped the price of a silver one from ~£60k to £51k over the last 3 months.

Reason that one you linked is the cheapest in the country... it must be the highest mileage one as well no? >50k miles on a V10 R8 is quite rare

They seem to be really slow sellers - I’ve told him to either go for a Lamborghini Gallardo as running cost is ball park similar or go for a 991 as they are easier to resell.

Not sure what opening bid I should tell him to go with if he does go down the R8 route...

Personally I think a m car plus a v8 r8 would be a nice combo for him too lol

They were an option, but if they had been factory fitted they would usually have R8 embossed on the head restraint, they would also match the door cards, I’d say they have definitely been retro fitted.

The seats don't look like they have done 50k odd miles either, they literally look shagged! Shiny and creased everywhere.

I wouldn't buy one without the buckets personally, but if you aren't bothered by them then its a lovely colour and looks much cleaner than the other one.
