    Evening Everyone,

Recently bought a Q5, lovely (family) car. Only problem with my particular one is that i get a clicking from the CV Joints. Looked underneath and the driveshafts have a lot of play in them.

Question; Has any one found a good alternative to buying driveshafts or CV joints from anywhere other than the Dealer? I have phoned up a number of independent specialists and they all insist you can't buy aftermarket pattern parts?! Audi want £550 for each driveshaft with CV joints or Single CV Joint for £380. Seems extremely pricey to me.

    Any info greatly received.
