    Hi all,

So I thought I'd follow the trend and post some pics on some of the updates I'm 96 Evo coupe.

I'm heading to brands hatch with a few friends so I finally got round to fitting H&R Race Springs. It's riding on standard shocks. As you can tell it was riding so high at the front:

You can tell the springs size difference between stock:

The car has a much better stance and it handles ace, feels a lot more tighter. I was complaining about the car creaking, it seems like that has gone too.

As the keen eyed out of you can tell, some genius has smashed their door into my aluminium doors, its on the list of things to do!

I've bought a Z3 1.9 rack and that should be fitted soon enough. Will keep you posted!

I've got a list of parts to sell which I bought over excitedly:

    - H&R Supension - Struts and Springs (for E36 non M3 models)
    - Brand new oil cooler - still in box

If anyone is heading to Brands Hatch on the 23rd of November it'll be good to meet!

That's a good looking car but if they're standard shocks in the rear you're going to either blow them or your strut towers out, that's far too low for stock shocks.

    Thanks all,

Track day went great - although it was bloody wet and so it got a bit tail happy!

Thanks Nzm3n - its sitting a lot lower as it had full shopping kart worth of parts sitting in the boot including 2 spare tyres, a full set of suspension, a radiator and tools!

It's out now and sitting a bit higher. Will look into Bilsteins as its got Sachs at the moment.

Looked at the ARBs - the bushes are worn and the ARBs look like they deserve a change too.

Its been a while since I last posted! I hope everyone is keeping safe and well as well as your families.

I finally got round to doing my seats in my M3. I managed to get them out (apart from the door cards)

I used bespoke leathering, cleaned them, filled them and painted them. So happy with the results.

Definitely got some more things lined up for the car soon

That looks an amazing change, well done.

Love a silver E36, they look so clean.

Any recent pics of how the car looks?

Wow, those seats came up well. Are they just cleaned or scrubbed and coated?

Cheers chaps, so I had to do a deep clean with shampoo, then I had to fill in the defects and finally about 3 layer of paint. Came out so good.

I need to do some front end work. Will post snaps when I get it done.

Thanks man, I spoke to another M3 owner he recommended Bespoke Leathering.

    https://bespokeleathering.com/shop/

It's worth dropping them an email. All in all it cost me 168 quid, bearing in mind I was being quoted 3 to 4k to get it retrimmed. I'm much happier this way.

It also retains a bit of wear which I think adds to the character.

Happy to be pmd if there are any more questions!

Really great to see the steps to restore the seats. I've got silver vadars too and you've encouraged me to give it a go! Did you spray the paint or use a brush/foam? Any other tips you can give? TIA

So I didn't use a spray gun - a friend had a bad experience with it. I used a sponge, there were streaks after the third coat so Bespoke recommended I "dab", now its very difficult to tell the marks! Its a much nicer place to be now.
