If the car can have it, £295 for unlimited
1 Year is £85
3 year is £255
Check via bmw connected store
Thanks. So cheaper to buy 3 years upfront !
Depends how long you’re keeping the car.
I’d prob opt unlimited
I went 1£ 1 month trial then paid up for unlimited - I find although a squeezed Waze screen it’s far better than bmw sat nav and includes speed traps and better alternative routes when needed. Also so easy to run Deezer and Spotify on demand - on my X5 I pay annual subscription for online entertainment as kids insist on it but Apple CarPlay is a much more cost effective way to access these music services if you already have a streaming service to your iPhone...
Good to hear as I’m planning on activating the trial shortly. Do we know if unlimited choosen it stays with the car if sold etc?
Knowing how it’s going they’d wriggle out of it.
Should be with the car for as long as apple car play supported - ie it’s then with the car not just current owner
Sounds good to me!
Only had the car since last Friday, so still enjoying wireless charging and idrive 6 etc.
Wireless charging? What’s that a feature of?
With an update you can get full screen car play apparently.
Full screen and unlimited car play, I was quoted £150. I have can play already. Non BMW I might add!!
Has anyone seen this / does it distort the image or scale for full screen !? My car 3 months old and doesn’t have OEM full screen CarPlay so must be a rescale I assume !?
It might be 3 months old but when was it built. There is definitely full screen carplay out there for recently produced cars.
April build - feel a bit cheated by dropping 300£ on half screen Apple pay ffs on that basis then !!!
If it's to go into your M3 look at my thread. Otherwise
-Get the Enfig Double DIN kit
-EITHER get the heater relocation panel OR get the extended wiring harness to go to the boot if your car had the factory Double DIN satnave from the off
-Fit a CarPlay headunit. I fitted a Sony XAV-AX100. Others now include items from Kenwood and Alpine iLX-700.
I reckon mine cost me around £450 by the time I accounted for connectors, steering controls and adaptors.
-Alternative is to fit the Alpine ilX-702E46. It's £700 however, but it does also have TomTom maps built into it and DAB.
Thanks for your reply. Actually was thinking for the F32 but can see the BMW CarPlay might be the cheaper option.
Quite liking Apple car play...got it a bit less expensive during black friday which helped.
I wouldn't be putting too much faith in Waze speed camera positions though...seems a bit haphazard.
