personally I'd be in a nice and tidy 981 GT4. its done most of its dough, its a more focused drive, its a cool colour that one. As a diving experience the GT4 is a better prospect, just depends what you want really.

Morning all. I'm still trying to decide between ordering a new GTS 4.0 and a 981 GT4.........saw this car and just wondered if anyone on here knows it? It's a gulf orange PTS so very distinctive, think it's the only one in that colour in the UK from what I can find.

Think it might of been on one of Side ways Sid’s or whatever he’s called you tube channel , link below …I’m sure it’s the same orange 981 . Id only buy a car like that esp one with 17k miles from a OPC with a full 2 year warranty .

New 4.0 GTS in your own spec for me everytime against that , But then again I don’t get what the big fuss is with PTS colours …… they look great in any colour regardless and certainly wouldn’t pay a premium for one . Just my opinion bud

Good find thank you.

They have said they would take it to Porsche Cardiff for the 111 point check if I paid for it. Am I right in thinking I can buy a porsche OPC warranty if the car passes this check? Agreed I wouldn't pay a premium for the colour.

I bet they did !! Lol Yes that’s correct ! It’s your money bud but I think I’d politely decline their offer .

Something decent soon enough
That colour is far too loud - not sure it suits the car.

Market is cray at the moment, but even so, thats a lot of money for a car approaching 6yrs old.

I tend to agree, it's still at nearly list price with 6 years of everyone having a drive of it. I might just put an order in for the new GTS and then keep an eye on the prices of GT4s over the next 3 months. My reading of the market is that the GT4s are up for strong asking prices but the market isn't moving much at the moment with it being Winter. Would feel much better with an OPC 981 GT4 but anything with buckets is £80k from them at the moment which is just crazy.

that car has either been for sale for ages or it’s back up again after a period of ownership. Remember seeing it on numerous occasions.

Re prices - gt4 is always going to be safer money than a gts.

Personally don’t like that colour or the decals but know a lot do.

Pretty sure i saw this on a raffle site last year, not with one of the established companies more like a youtuber trying to make more than market value for his car. If i remember correctly it didn't sell out so the car wasn't given away only some cash so they were stuck with it, remember the colour and being 1 of 1 so it must be the one (i have a thing for orange cars! lol)

I think it also has to have had its last service at an OPC in order to qualify for the warranty. Unless I missed it, the ad doesn’t mention full OPC history. It’s a nice spec car, prices have crept up and stayed up, even though we are now in the depths of winter. There are a few on the market though, when I was looking in summer 2020, sure there were only 16 or something for sale, whereas now, even in winter it’s 24 or so for sale.

Yep that car was on a raffle site at some point last year.

I also believe there was another car for sale in this colour at the same time, both stating 1 of 1. Unless it was the same car also for sale with a dealer at the time of the raffle

Well i have had quite a few emails asking for more details on the spec of my car after posting this so thought it would be quicker to share here for everyone, 2015 Porsche Cayman GT4 in Sapphire Blue, full Porsche service history with the next service due April 2023, 12months Porsche warranty + 12 months Porsche assist, 10 months MOT, SPEC, 2 owner 10345 mile clubsport car with extended leather, interior carbon pack, sounds plus package, carbon door sills, sat nav, air con with dual controls, leather edge mats with the Porsche logo, leather steering column, contrast silver grey stitching, alcantara sun visors, alloy pedals, alloy looking fuel cap, passenger harness, steel brakes, sports chrono, 918 carbon seats, indoor Porsche cover, fire extinguisher, light design package, smokers package and 2 keys with all the paper work and correct booklets that come with the car, well i have been the proud owner for just over 3years in what is a cracking car but feel its time to try something else and this is the reason for sale, i will advertise the car the first week in feb on Auto trader, please no traders with your 65K offers, Regards John
