    M2C, new, no mods.
    - 41yrs old.
    - 20yrs no claims to use.
    - clean license and record.
    - Locked garage.
    - 8k per year.
    - London postcode

Adrian Flux £3k wtf, Aviva £1,200, Sky £900.

Can anybody out there with similar profile tell me what premiums they're paying?

Any thoughts on insurer's who price well on these cars?

Didn't realise it ought to be that much of a problem. More thefts off of drives in the shires than out of an underground garage in central London I'd have thought, though I guess I'm wrong. Hey ho, search continues, such a faff.

I agree but insurance makes no sense. They assume you live in London therefore loaded so load the premium more it’s likely!

Ha, yeah, or perhaps the theory is you live in London therefore are only used to driving below 10mph in traffic jams, so as soon as you get in an empty B road you immediately wrap it around a tree!

*could be valid for some London drivers to be fair!!

Just renewed with Darwin who are owned by Direct Line [ you can get a quote online ] a bit older than you but a fault claim in 2016 and 9 years NCB [ which I believe is the max ] £346 on an M2

NFU are recommended as well but not the cheapest.

Also include another driver on the policy, it usually brings the premium down

    08 E92 M3 dct, 13 VW Passat Estate, previously 03 E46 M3 CSL, 96 E36 M3 GT (LHD), 95 E36 M3
Multicar renewal with Aviva came in at £844 (E92 M3 + a Passat worth £3k!), Direct line say £523. I'm 45 with 3 points and max NCB. Guess Direct Line will be getting my business ...
