Just a heads up to anyone who has a liking to higher mileage cheaper cars.

There’s an F80 going through BCA this week or next.

Grey 65 plate DCT on 123k miles.

Doesn’t look bad, I’d imagine lots of motorway miles there. I had a 90k miles F80 2 years ago that had sat on the motorway and it drove mint to be fair!

    It books at 18k btw.

At the right price should be fine. Probably had a fair bit done.

I think book is strong given what I've just been offered for mine on 49k.

Take bmw valuations with a pinch of salt

a bmw dealer offered me £33k for a 2k mile M2C 69 plate with all options, against an m4 cs.

Local BMW dealer offered me £38k straight purchase
    Independent dealer/trader offered £41k

It's so frustrating mate. I would like to shift mine now.

You cant sell privately as you'll get robbed.

Cant PX as they offer daft money.

I just think forget it and let it sit there.

What car are you in now Stu?

plenty of independent dealers out there, who will buy for decent money.

I got rid of my M2C today.

Imagine buying a car for £5k, then selling it for £8k. The buyer returns to you 6 months later, asking if you want to buy it. You will likely offer sub £4K. The seller then thinks you’re taking the pish. He wants £7K for it. But why would you pay more than the original £5k for it.

This is exactly what happens at BMW,
They sell you a new car at £50k, which only costs them £43k new. So drive off and it’s instantly worth £40k back to them.

Just the way it is, I feel sorry for the rrp car buyers out there, which there are many

I can see it up in a few weeks time with 50k miles shaved off and £15k on the price.

Got an M4 mate. 65 plate. It's quite a high spec with individual interior.

Lovely car in great condition. I'm sort of 50/50. Whatever the weather I owe more than its worth.

Gosh, and I was starting to worry about Turbos and stuff on mine as it's a 64 plate with 38k on it. :)
