    Hello all :peace:

I've just joined after spending the last few month lurking looking for parts! Here's my M3, I have had it 6 months now and haven't really done a lot too it but I'm starting now.

She was on 89k when I got her and shes just about to go over to 90K, it's not my only weekend car as I have a Nissan 200sx what also takes up a lot of my time and money! Before this I had a clio 172 that I used on track and a EP3 that I used on track including the Nurbergring. I have had 3 E36's though including building one from the shell up so I am no stranger to a BMW. I was torn between head (E46 M3 & heart (E36 M3) when I was in the market for one but obviously ended up with the E46. I knew what spec I wanted and luckily was a few for sale at the time when I looking. I went and test drove a SMG one and couldn't get away with it so purchased a manual. When I bought it the wheels where a dark grey/black colour but I have recently had them redone in silver. I also managed to get my hands on a full carbon CSL rear diffuser but wasn't a fan so wrapped the outside of it silver and left round the exhaust carbon.

Next I want an exhaust system, intake, big brake kit, carbon front splitter and a map.

Anyway enough talking here's the photos!

When I first went and picked her up

It had previously had a some rust sorted and a full respray, it had some slight sanding marks so this was after I finished machine polishing them out

Well I thought I would update this as I've been doing a bit of tinkering.

The car needed front discs and I managed to get hold of a brembo 4 pot set up "cheap", turns out it had they Porsche brackets on so didn't fit under a CSL disc and the pad didn't fit a standard discs. So what I thought was a cheap brake kit ended up being a fair bit more but we live and learn eh!

Next I finally got a MOT on it after it had been sat for a while because of the bad weather.

Next thing, not really M3 related but I fancied a Jimny for a while and one came up cheap so I snapped it up and made my duo into a trio!

Finally went for a drive out to Ribblehead Viaduct, this will most likely be my last drive out before it goes to Mr Vanos next Monday to have the rod bearings done! I will post photos of the bearings that come out in this thread.

have you ever been pulled for the small front plate. My wife has a 5 digit private plate and I've always wanted to put a small plate on her car but never have.

Thanks, I appreciate it :D I would like a carbon splitter and CSL bootlid!

Touch wood, I haven't in any of my cars and I've always ran smaller/stick on plates. A few of my mates don't even run a front number plate
