Nice car but you’d really have to want an 8 series in the first place, otherwise it’s another case of getting a car cause it’s “cheap”

Nothings cheap if you don’t actually want it. It’s not an overly desirable or practical car. Probably why they don’t seem to be selling.

I emailed him but all his replies went into junk. Good deal mind you and for 2 years of ownership at less than £13k with hand back and no negative equity seemed a no brainer

Shame its not the D and the mileage allowance is pants.

30k per year and D would be fantastic! :muttley:

Haha for sure pal. Perfect for you as you do moon miles ;) I only do 10 miles a day and sometimes less so would have been perfect but with a little lad and nursery drop offs it’s so pointless

That’s a shame mate. At those prices I’d have been tempted myself had I not just ordered the X5. I know what Colin means by having to really want one but like you say £13k for two years makes it very attractive.

Imagine that - £4K down and £399 per month on the new M3/4 I reckon they would double even triple their sales :D

Someone must have grabbed one of these surely.

You've got to wonder what the 2 year old used versions are going to be going for approved used...

If the 6 series is anything to go by... about 50% of their RRP.

Ha ha if only! Sadly I think the M heritage means there will always be people willing to pay more unlike for the bloated 8 series!

Ha ha I'm just a sales guy born and bred! I think when I tap out of technology when I reach my 40s I'd be really happy to follow Scott's route. Can never get passionate about software but cars are a different beast!

Thanks mate. Yeah trying to work out what mods I want from the dealership before collection. I'm thinking I'll get the mirrors and stock diffuser gloss black and maybe the top of the boot spoiler. What do you think on an Arctic Grey? Car should look like this but with the Shadow Line pack.

Also struggling to find a decent splitter to add a bit of aggression to the front without compromising ground clearance. The OEM MP bits are crap and overpriced and whilst I like the ACS splitter again its a bit OTT. Rest of the ones I've seen on line seem a bit Chinatastic and naff and I doubt anything from the X5M will fit the M50i.

That looks the absolute danglies mate, very imposing and impressive! I know it’ll be a bit wierd moving on from an M4 but I think after a few weeks you’ll wonder why you never made the switch sooner. There’s less and less opertinities these days to excersise these M cars, so a luxury SUV with 400+ hp and great looks does appeal!

One thing I find, is that when you see a new SUV variant, the old model tends to immediately look a bit old, whereas with cars, it’s more of a gradual change, then they start to look good again. I can’t see anyone ever craving an early 2000’s X5 :muttley:

Yeah I was surprised how smitten I was with the X5 M50d.....and that was a diesel. I think the V8 in the M50i will be even more appealing given the engine and 530bhp especially as the X5 drives like a nimble car.

Nice Jon but after my test drive I personally thought it was a bit big and preferred the look of the F15

Having said that I am a bit of a hypocrite as I always said before that I preferred my E70 model to the F15 and that the M5 was to big :D

Ill be in one myself next week :muttley::thumbsup:

The 6000SUX! Took me a couple of years before I was old enough to see the joke. Looking back I was way too young to watch such a violent film, but the car was pretty cool.

If there are X5 M50i deals feel free to PM me details, a mate of mine is just about to pull trigger on an X3 deal and this might tempt him.
    Thanks :)
