I have the Mumbray version, I bullied him into developing it as I wanted an ally undertray sold in the US but shipping costs prevented it.

The Turner one is very strong but also weighs a ton, and you just don’t need it to be that strong really. The Mumbray one also gives 40mm more clearance than the OE one.

Looks a good bit of kit!
That would work out cheaper than replacing the 3 standard items also.

I looked at the Mumbray one. Only problem is that it only 100% fits if you have he GT splitter. If you have corner splitters, or nothing, you are left with big gaps.

What do you think it would work like with a mode v1 style splitter? Looks like it would still have the gaps as it has no brake ducts.

My tray was cut to avoid the duct tubes. The standard one fouls in that area, so would be fine for your car. Speak to Paul Mumbray for more pics of it on a standard car.

Spoke to Paul and placed my order today.

I’ll get some pictures up once I’ve got this and my splitter fitted. :D

    This looks superb!

Can anyone with just the BMW Carbon Corner 'Splitters' post a photo of what this looks like underneath...are there lots of gaps as people seem to say?

I've just destroyed my 3rd felt corner 'lump' which hangs down and had enough. Had to drive up kerb to negotiate a school bus parked and the kerb ripped it out!

I am sick of buying the flimsily bits of moulded felt which are crazily expensive from BMW so am very interested in these.

Do they fit 100% without any splitter or are there gaps versus OEM?

Still not sure on these?? Does it replace all three pieces and what are the ducts that can go with it, are these required or just a nice to have??

    Ask Paul Mumbray.

Replaces all 3 parts, and the ducts are for my big brake kit, a standard car wouldn’t have these and the tray wouldn’t be cut out in that area.

I’ll get some pictures up later today as I’m fitting my splitter, so I’ll get one with the aluminium undertray and no splitter
