Scares the **** out of just watching it
Absolute fuckin idiot !
And anyone who thinks that he’s a legend is a fuckin idiot too !!
16.7% do. Scientifically this proves Audi’s are hated.
I think the main defence would be how do you prove they were filming or they even had their phone on them to at that time. Right or wrong this is actually the problem with the law. Even if it looks like a slam dunk people get off on technicalities and a decent barrister will get them off quite easily.
Fook me this happens in Germany day in day out yet in the UK we are talking 25 to life. Maybe hanging.
The road was empty he was in a car designed to do the speed and our standard of driving should be better.
The problem is the cunts who think putting their indicator on means they can pull out into your lane irrespective of how fast your approaching them.
Is the speeder the problem or the careless **** with no mirrors. Stuck in a moral dilemma!
Dunno but if i'm honest, the car seemed slow to me, took forever to get up there.
As for the comments about it being ok on the Autobahn.
The ONLY difference there is that it's legal (in the de-restricted speed zone area's).
The drivers are not anymore aware over there though than they are here, they still just pull out at the last minute, sometimes they indicate, other times they use the brake lights instead then pull out.
Yes I think it was a 3.0bitdi.
He should have bought an M5 much better.
200mph is likely more like 180 ish.
I had my C63 to an indicated off clock scenario (200mph+) it actually sat nicely. The moment you let off it loses speed very, very fast.
Not that I would want to have to stamp on the brakes at 200mph.
It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The autobahn is a better place to do it as you won’t get judged which is why I love going to Germany.
I remember sat on the limiter in the M5 and it was just so relaxing not having to worry about the fuzz.
It's a very strange feeling though when you fly past a coppa at 160mph+
Their roads are just better.
Was even stranger when I pulled in to let a Mercedes GLE63 overtake me!!!
You just don't get it, do you.
The guy did a run at 200, on a road with 6 vehicles which would normally have hundreds, he couldn't do that with the motorways normal traffic. The guy never crashed, he never killed anyone, he set the whole run-up for whatever reason he chose.
Watch the video again, you will see no other traffic could join the motorway to pull out on him. The car he used was built to do them speeds. He broke the UK speed limit, just like 99.9 per cent of drivers have done.
If you want to shout and condemn someone for doing what he did, make sure your squeaky clean of which you are not as you have already said, and don't do 31 in a 30 limit because there is more chance that someone will step out in front of you than anyone stepping out in front of a car doing 200 mph.
I think your wrong I've driven in Europe quite a bit and their standard of driving and lane discipline is far far better then in the UK. It's shocking to come back to the UK drive off the tunnel on to our motoways and immediately it's like ok everyone over here is a loon. No lane discipline sat in the middle or right lane with nothing on the left 2 lanes, pulling out at the last second before hitting the car in front etc etc these are all normal in the UK but rare in Europe especially in Germany.
Apart from France; they make sure to keep an eye on their mirrors so that they can pull out infront of you.
It's the speeder who's wrong and reckless. He may be capable himself but he is not able to predict the driving awareness of the other traffic
The difference between here and Germany is that, in Germany, the population are used to having open speed limits since ever. They are aware to double check before moving out because they are totally used to the fast cars coming past at 150-200mph. its very different to UK
Exactly this. I've driven to Germany a fair bit. It constantly amazes me who quickly the Belgians pull back in to the inside lane after overtaking. No middle lane twats either !!
My experience of France is seeing your a UK car after overtaking them they point to the slow lane for you to return to after your manoeuvre. This happens a lot in Northern France, I guess the locals get fed up with the UK drivers antics.
The French should attend to their own crappy driving first.
The social distancing malarkey must be really annoying to French drivers having to keep 2 metres away from the car in front.
The one I commonly see, two lane stretch of road, i am approaching two cars infront in convoy and have seen they have been like that the past 10 seconds or so, as I indicate out to move over to the overtaking lane to go past ( probably 10 car lengths away) the following convoy car does the same, meaning I have to reduce my speed until they pull back in. They get such a hard on for doing it.
