Odd one is this. My mate has a 2014 330d xdrive with the M Sport Plus package BMW were doing at the time. The original invoice states Navigation Professional but inside the car there's the little idrive knob and the screen is not the wide screen version. It looks to me like the business nav.

I've trawled the AUC site for him this morning and can't find a single car that says pro nav and doesn't have the wide screen and the larger dial.

Can anyone shed any light please? I just can't see how this could happen but before he goes into BMW and asks them I just wanted to check with some learned experts!

    Cheers

I can get it. But it’s LR14 XMG. From Mar 2014 if that helps.

It’s listed at BMW as having the smaller business nav not the widescreen pro nav.

Cheers mate. Thanks for taking the time to check that out. As a matter of interest how did you check that?

Looks like he’s in for some fun and games then as the invoice defo says pro nav!

Quick update. My mates been to BMW. They admit they made a mistake but won’t do anything about it. He suggested retrofitting the nav and they said it can’t be done apparently. I’m sure I’ve seen threads of that being done.

Aside from that has anyone ever had experience of anything similar?

It can be done by independents but not by BMW. They say it’s impossible but it’s not.
