Lovely. Shows what a good engine this is if maintained properly and looked after.

Ideal way to travel up and down the motorways - v8 humming away - the e92 makes a great gt car

At 21MPG that's 9523 Gallons or 41901 Litres. Average Litre petrol price for the last 10 years (non premium) = 1.22. So premium = 1.35.

Fuel cost = 56566. So each mile cost 25p in fuel. Motorway at 75 = 1 quid every 3 minutes.

    Lets hope so!

I rented a ML63 once when fuel was at 1.55/litre. Worked out as just under a quid per minute on the motorway:bugeye:

Yep the consumption is eye watering, which is why I never bother to work it out! also 21mpg sounds optimistic, I think real world would be closer to 16mpg!

Hahaha that is bad! Especially when you know its costing a pound every minute.

I tend to get around 18MPG but its all local A/B roads. The ad for the 200K miler mentioned most was motorway mileage so probably around 20 is fair.

Would never own an ML63 because of this but great to rent short term, so silly yet so fun.

Yes but motorway on the M25, AKA Londons biggest car park!

I can imagine, I quite like the new GLC 63, they look very mean and not the size of a house like the ML!

Didnt factor that in, probably 50% more in that case!

Agree, also the ML I had was the 6.3, the newer ones including the GL have turbos so should be slightly more economical

Feeling quite smug sitting at 104K, but not really thought about the cost of fuel since I picked it up in 2009.

He found oil in the water apparently and pulled it.

I personally think somebody came to buy it and did the oil in coolant scam on it and purchased it for peanuts
