Yes you are correct, and I think that's why the dealers have an absolute shed load of 718's on site. Teesside must have 10 in the showroom, when I bought mine there were hardly any at dealers. I think Porsche have definitely dropped a bollock fitting a 4 pot.

Genuinely surprised when I saw the price. I didn't realise these were so cheap.

    Lovely car mate.

Cheers, Scrutch. Lot of car for your money, definitely. Non car people often think it’s worth twice what it is.

    Yes, it's funny

"non car people" have no idea.

I bought a new Cayman S and the generally consensus between a few chaps on a job of it's value was near 100K ish:eek:

Regarding Porsche values. Some have definitely held up better than others. Caymans loose quite a lot in the first few years and then stick around the 15-18k like yours.
The DFI engined Boxsters and Caymans are holding up really well being around 20k for a LCI version for a Boxster S

Guess they see the badge and their imagination runs away from them.

    Which Cayman do you have?

Such a great car, spec and colour, and most of all - great price.

Nothing better for the money, bit like a sorted E46 M3 at 10 to 12k !!

I don't have it any more. It was a Cayman S in seal grey

Ordered it back in 2006, I placed the order before the car was released, it was one of first on the road, might explain why it was mis-valued, :)

Afraid not, Ryan. I really am after an E92.
