    Hi guys

Text is copied and pasted from Cliosport website. Price is £4,295. As most of you know these cars are mega and finding a nice Racing Blue one with reasonable mileage isn’t easy!

    Copied text:

It is with regret that I am putting up for sale my Clio. I bought the car from DTM Cars Ltd in Newcastle in November 2017 on just over 59,000 miles so it’s done just over 4,000 miles in 14 months. DTM carried out a lot of work on the car before putting it on sale although sadly I cannot find paperwork to verify this. The most important detail being the cambelt and dephaser change, and from memory it also had new front discs and pads, new front tyres (rainsport 3’s which are now on the rear) and a wheel refurbishment. I believe the wheels are darker than OEM but they are done to a really high standard and in my opinion look great.

When I bought the car it was in good condition but a bit rough around the edges. As a result I did quite a lot of work to the car to get it looking and driving better. Again, from memory this includes:

    New Renaultsport floor mats

    New gear knob (non OEM)

New stereo headunit (fitted was faulty Cabasse version which can be included)

New heater control panel as original was peeling badly

New exhaust (unsilenced KTEC, louder than OEM but does not drone)

Eibach Pro-kit springs (original springs can be included, 3 OEM and one unknown brand that the car came fitted with)

    New top mounts

    Arb bushes

    Outer cv boot clips

    Rear discs and pads

    N/s track rod end

New front tyres (Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric)

A new injector due slight misfire at low rpm on cylinder 3

    Passenger side window clip

    Washer pump

    Air con regas

The car was last serviced (major service inc spark plugs) on 14/11/18 by Gary Burnett who has carried out all work on the car in my ownership (except the tyres). I haven’t told him I’m selling it yet but I’m sure he would vouch for the excellent condition of the car and any potential buyer being local to him I would implore to continue using him as he is a top bloke and very reasonable.

MOT is end of May 2019, again I’ll have to double check to confirm. Mileage today is 63,634 and may rise slightly as in occasional use.

Overall the car is in good condition, marks consummate with age and mileage. The exterior on the whole is excellent and only a few minor blemishes that I couldn’t get to show up on photos. The car was clayed, polished and waxed a few weeks ago. Inside it’s generally good, being a cup it has the cloth seats and the fronts are in good condition (besides a small tear on the drivers side bolster). Back are practically unused. It drives so much better than it did when I bought it and is a real credit to Gary. Sadly the weather has been rubbish ever since I cleaned it last so today in the shade was the best I could do! Snow on tyres an optional extra I probably can’t guarantee..

There’s probably plenty I’ve missed, feel free to PM me questions. Selling due a want for a more modern car as two 14 year olds was getting a bit tiring!

Car is located just South of Manchester.

    Thanks for reading

    Looks nice,

I assume you have proof the belts etc were done? You say you cant find the paperwork that's all.

    Hi there

DTM actually replaced them themselves, they also carried out a service and the book is stamped as appropriate. It was one of the selling points of the car that it had been done and there was both a photo of the parts removed and they were physically in the car when I bought it. All I don’t have at the moment is the paperwork associated but as DTM were a good garage and reputable RS specialist I doubt they would have issue with confirming that the work was done.

    Cheers
    Dan

Just to confirm, they did actually stamp the book to say that they were changed (cambelt, aux belt, dephaser) but it was on a different page that I hadn’t seen. It’s also listed in the invoice for the sale from DTM including service (stamped as appropriate), water pump and front discs/pads.
