Glad I took the plunge a couple of years ago, can’t really see prices cooling down on these unless interest rates go sky high tbh

I think you’re right - a significant interest rate is the only thing that could bring the price of these down in the foreseeable future. It’s not like they are making any more or anything similar. I wouldn’t be waiting if I wanted one (says the impartial owner of a VO 1M).

What're you driving?
1m and e46m3
Colour Combo
Valencia orange and carbon black
32500 unsold,I’m guessing nowhere near it’s reserve
I suppose with 93k on the clock it’s not going to appeal to collectors looking for an investment

Surprised it didn’t get much higher, probably not helped by some of the comments made by someone who didn’t even bid. He seemed to object to the trade seller and did his best to screw it for them which he possibly did!

That looks stunning but a very shiny steering wheel for a car that supposedly has only 27k miles.
Hmm shiny steering wheel isn’t an indicator of mileage. It’s more an indicator of it being handled by greasy hands and not cleaned properly.

If you want to look it up the reg is WG11ELO.

Why is there an outstanding recall if it's always been dealer serviced?

Very nice example however

Last @ a dealer late Feb. Recall seems to be dated mid Feb, but there was an 8 week wait, according to the press, caused by a parts' shortage.
My *guess* is that they couldn't do it at the time and no one motivated to take it in since.

I had a recall on my 1M just 3 or 4 months back so it must be that one that just hasn’t been sorted yet.

It’s a shame because I would be interested in this car if it wasn’t for the bloody tune.

Curious to know what puts you off about the tune? The fact that there's an indelible "record" that can't be removed, unlike the other mods?

(FWIW I now own this car)

It’s just a rule of mine I don’t buy mapped cars.

How are you finding the car anyways.

It's great. Not mad for the carbon boot lid trim, the ridiculous noise it makes when started from cold, or the height of the seats but these are all things that can be addressed.

I've had a couple of opportunities to enjoy it properly on and off track, and look forward to a proper roadtrip in it.
