Open track event Snetterton 300 19th June 2018
Id be up for travelling the 5hrs down
Commitment Chris, you set the bar for travelling, no excuses for the people who live 100+ miles away, this could be the 1 not to miss
I wont be in the m as I'm not allowed on snetteron (noise) but if I've got my track car sorted I'll come. Myself and Eandy went at the beginning of the year and I failed noise limits with my 4 pipe mod.
Can’t do Tuesday’s
Sorted a couple of things, can do it but won’t arrive till 10.15am ish
can you do that ?
I always thought you had to be there for the briefing usually at 8:30
makes for some early starts if I could get there later id be able to do a lot more days
I could do that date is it set up yet or just an idea?
The track day operator needs to do a separate briefing, not ideal but I can only do the day as have commitments.
Ive found Opentrack decent for this in the past:
MSV Bedford and Snetterton have been good in the past. Must happen often as traffic jams etc.
Yep, I often turn up around 9.30-10.30. Else you become really tired by the end of the day.
As billy said, they just give a short briefing. However, sometimes they might be too busy and won’t give briefing till lunch.
I can do Tuesdays.
I have also phoned up just before lunch to check availability, and turned up just as lunch is finishing, if it's a MSV event i try to barter and get the afternoon less than half price, good value during the summer on a warm dry day.
Even a fully booked day, you always get people with mechanical problems or only do the morning.
Handy if you live local like I do
I could be up for this
Let's make this happen!
I would be up for this if I get my engine back, if I get it dyno'd and if I can get the car tested before the 19th June. However I suspect I shall have to pass and join the next one!
Seems you have got your hands full therel Simon.
How about Brands GP 14th September?
Whos booked up?
Doubt car will be ready
What about End of July?
September sounds more likely but am hoping to be dyno'd and ready to test it sometime in July, assuming my newly lightened wiring loom doesn't burn the car to the floor. Will definitely be ready for the Silverstone day in November with opentrack though!
I’m in for this, I need to spend more time in the paddock working on the car and spending a fortune for a trackday and doing less than 10 laps! Can’t wait!
See you all there,
