    Yep, this has been done through planning permission with a (very expensive!) structural drawing.

    Block walls (with pillars) timber trusses and a tin roof. Theres also a 780kg piece of steel going across the middle!

    You lot are more like greenpeace than a bunch of petrolheads.

    My house has enough character, we arent short of stone round here...

    Plus the visible sides of the new building will be clad in stone anyway, and not built completely randomly out of all sorts of crap.

    I renovate things and make them better, not worse.

    Trust me im a doctor...:muttley:

    Durisol is a brilliant product if anyone unskilled wants to do a diy garage.

    A trained chimp could build with it.

    Holy **** I'm envious. This is exactly what I want to do when we move back to the UK but to be honest where we live in the midlands it's going to be years before we could afford this.

    Will follow with interest, I'd love a ramp

    I built my garage last year, 6 months of upheaval. But it was worth it. Looking forward to seeing your end results.

    And Finally this;

    Concreteing is hard ive barely had time to take a **** never mind a picture so I got all the stages I could. But its bloody tiring long winded and very stressful work!

    Ive achieved what I wanted to achieve this weekend and even had time to clean the car. I dont know how these groundwork lads do it day in day out though, im not in bad shape but they must be rediculously fit.

    Hats off to them.

    Walls starting to go up today.

    I just need to figure out how to do a ramp at the front now that isnt going to be too long and intrusive on my driveway and also that my MNR can get up...
