Managed to do it on my 3.2, cut old flexie off on the car new flexie sleved over manifold pipe then tig welded it had to use mirror to view top...
You can cut and weld a new braided flexie on while manifolds still on the car,is a bit of a ball ache tho but can be done
I run 6 pot aps 330mm discs on front and have to run spacers. Only thing you have to watch is balance weight placement.
After a 5 speed zf gearbox, just need it for the casing so doesnt matter if theres issues etc with it.
Was there any broken bolts? Or bits of missing from pressure plate?
Looks like flywheels got stuck on and some ones had a chisel or screwdriver in there trying to smack it off
Most of mine is solid bushes only thing i would say is have to spanner check the car a bit more as things do vibrate loose
Have a s50/b32 that will be coming out off the car soon. had bolts bearings and vanos rebuilt.

Yeah mine had a small bit of a and c pillar so screens sit on top. Just used a sealant on join line, theres a good chance of filler cracking out...
