Yea Yea I did a lot of research before buying them. As I'm sure you are aware, they are a very good progressively wound spring with lots of great reviews, but can sit a little low on the rear especially on a convertible which tends to sit lower on the back anyway. Hence the spring pad from an...

Here are some pics of the new ride height. It's not yet settled so may drop a tad more. I'm hoping not as I'm really pleased with how it looks. Not too aggressive and hopefully to the untrained eye looks standard. I'll put some miles on it then get a 4 wheel alignment, but initial assessment...

These are the only photos I took as in a bit of a rush to get off the borrowed ramp! I'll take some of the finished job from the underside and update soon. FYI the bare metal was etch primed and lacqured for protection.

Now for the not so good. The only rust that I found were from the well know floor grommets on the rear floor. I chose to remove the seats and rear carpet, cut out all signs of rust, then weld plates in from the inside. This means that from the underside I have been able to complete a flush...

Ok, had the car on a ramp for the first time to give it a thorough check over before I get carried away doing less critical jobs. Main objective is to look for anything that needs replacing/ fixing or preventative maintenance. I'm pretty happy with the results considering the state of some of...

I did think about it, but decided I wanted a more flush look. Would have worked just as well though, I agree.

Fitted and in conjunction with the euro tips I'm quite pleased. Not 100% certain it will be staying but easy to revert back if I choose.

I've never been much of a fun of the ACS diffuser due to too much bling and all the securing bolts. So fibre glassed the rear of the diffuser to allow filling and proper painting in black eliminating all the bolt holes. Also polished all the scratches out of the carbon. Came up great!

Very minor update, more to come. Still hardly driven the car but made a little addition. As with most of the bits I'm doing I'm ensuring everything is fully reversible so I can go back to original if a choose. So this popped up on eBay quite cheap and in the correct colour so had a punt.

How to get exhaust tips off?

Looks like they drilled the holes in the wrong place then? Are the holes in your other two the same in comparison to the slash cut angle?
