Picked up this recently which is my first foray into vintage watches - Enicar Sherpa Guide GMT. True never worn NOS condition from 1969, seal still on the case back and has never been opened. It still works but the wind is a bit crunchy as no doubt very dry after 52 years! 43mm which was...
For carbon of all varieties plus all sorts of other tasty stuff, keep an eye on the 'For Sale' section of these forums. Always something interesting for sale in there. There is also a 'Wanted' section but I don't really look in there that much so don't know how successful the ads are.
Hi fellow Cutters watch enthusiasts
I'm selling a boutique watch that has a car angle so might be of interest to somebody here.
It an Autodromo Group B Series 2 - Night Stage III (Limited to 200 units and long sold out)
Its 39mm titianium case with a steel bracelet with an Miyota 9015 automatic...
‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ and all the other related cliches!
It’s not my cup of tea and IMO has gone overboard with the colour coding plus a few inaccuracies like a GTS bonnet for £1500 so either they have forgotten how much it actually cost or it’s a replica (surely would have...
So I had my bolts replaced today. Followed the other general instructions, tighten to 60lbs whilst at normal ride height and I finally have silent suspension!
Replacement bolts seems to be the way to go for the permanent fix.
Big thanks to everybody who contributed to this thread. :bow2:
Tried this on the other day after seeing a few YouTube vids:
Incredible detail for the price. A bit big for me at 43mm but I don't have an Omega or a Worldtimer in the collection so am sorely tempted. I also think it will hold its value quite well.
Hi Tom, I can't seem to locate the part number for the pinch bolt in the Cotswold sub forum.
Had a look on Real OEM but not 100% sure. Is it:
5 Hex bolt with washer M10X80-U1-10.9 2 07119905418
7 Hexagon nut with collar M10-10 ZNS3 2 33326768884
Can you please confirm. Ta.
I'm in the same boat although mine only started clicking started after jacking the car up to fit spacers. Its been constant since and quite embarrassing! This was approx 2 months after fitting KW HAS by my trusted local indy who is good with BMW's - he has an E46 track car. After the clicking...
I’m an eternal tinkerer so I love all of the changes possible with BM3 plus I’m a 2016 so out of warranty so nothing to worry about there.
Ive been on the forums for 2 years and follow the F80 chat closely and can’t remember a crank hub failure reported in that time. I’m of the opinion that the...
Yes. I have a really loud car - catless DP’s plus M Perf Exhaust so I like to be able to have manual control of the valves and I can then be quiet when I need to be. Also I only drive with the long travel throttle of Efficient but occasionally want the valves open when the conditions allow.
I've got the BMS Valve Controller (OBD II Can Module). It stays plugged into the OBD plug but I hid the rest in the dash and because its all black you don't notice it:
Contols are via the BC button on the left hand stalk.
I actually left mine in for its last dealer service. They just asked me...
