Default new owner saying Hi!

Hi

I've been lurking heavily on the forum for about a month now - trying to soak up all the useful info. After reading various reviews online I decided I wanted to buy an M3 CS. Kept looking but none seemed to have the right spec. Found one but it was quickly snapped up by a guy in Hong Kong!

Finally found one I liked but it didn't have the sunroof I would have liked.....but in the end I couldn't resist as it had great spec apart from that. Also missing rear sun blind but see you can retrofit that if desired so wasn't too bothered.

Here are the obligatory photos - used the ones from the advert as they are better than I can take.

Thanks for all the tips and info....

spec is as follows...

M3 CS manual
individual interlagos blue with cream full leather
wood trim - hope to change this to cubed
Harman kardon sounds
sat nav/tv
auto dim mirrors/fold up exterior mirrors
xenons with headlight wash
Bluetooth
armrest
heated seats with electric backwidth adjustment
graduated tinted screen
extended storage
pdc

would like to add the rear sun blind at some point and have managed to get a CSL bootlid which is at the sprayers.

Nice car, I saw this one come up for sale. Just my opinion but would really consider if you want a csl bootlid on this perfect example ! ( I am just a stickler for detail)

Will keep the original boot lid so can always return it to stock form if need be.

Snap!!

I also saw this for sale,

Externally looks like mine except you have the original wheels!!!

You interior looks amazing though, VERY RARE for a CS.
I think personally replacing your door and dash trims for a gloss black trim would look awesome...

Which is why i'll keep the original lid. Genuine csl lid will keep most of its value too so will be able to sell it separately when i return the car to original form if I sell it.

Yes i agree about the gloss black trim. Did they do piano black e46 trim or do i have to get it painted?

Yep, Ironically it was a lot more common in the earlier models.

This is one that sold on ebay

Best to keep a look out on ebay

That's got to be a individual interior. Congrats, I've had a CS it was a great car. Also mate don't fit the CSL bootlid, your car is perfect as it is

I love the CS. And this one is a real head turner. I agree on the trm, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't these come with a type of aluminium/diamond trim insert? Never heard of a wood trim option for a CS. Gorgeous car though.
