Genuine CSL bootlid from Cotswold was £670 delivered to me last month, including number plate lights and cable for them that attaches to your loom, and takes your locks, lights etc from your original bootlid

At least you know it will fit properly without buggering around with trimming and fettling to get it sitting right.

No, it is about the same as the original steel one, but it is actually some sort of GRP. I did not weigh them, but felt very similar when lifting them.

OEM is dead on fit. Just go for that. It is lighter but not carbon fibre lighter

To not open a new thread just for this queston, Does the OEM CSL boot lid work with the button to open it on the driver's door. Asking because mine doesn't so just wana know if it's not conected or it can't be done because it doesn't have a handle.

Yep, I was so disappointed when it came, with all the internet hype I was expecting some exotic carbon super light piece of exotica
But nope, nothing in it.

However it does produce actual downforce above 120mph..... not that I would know such things of course

Great for the Autobahn

Should work if it's all hooked up right?

Well on mine I can only open with the key.... annoying but you get used to it.
There is a button you can add which I believe the genuine CSL's had as standard which goes near the a/c controls.
Its something I have been considering, but that involves making a hole with a Dremel......I do not mix well with Dremels.

The button goes next to the bonnet release handle I think...

Yeah, there's a kit+wiring guife about. Basically, one boot switch, tap into ground and power from the light switch above, and then tap the 3rd pin into the fuse box, forget which pin
